A bus trip to Nanny's House

Yesterday Mummy and I went on a bus trip to Nanny's house. Daddy dropped us off at the bus station in his electric work car. When we got to Te Awamutu, we had to walk to Nanny's house. What a sustainable fun morning!

Driving cars is my favourite thing!

At the moment I love to pretend to drive Mummy's car and Daddy's work car. I spend hours in the garage clipping my toys in and out of their seats and pretending to go to the supermarket to buy kiwifruit or visit the pet shop.

Unfortunately, Mummy had to call the AA 3 times last week as I also like to play with all the buttons and I keep leaving the lights on!

Playcentre babies!

Mummy had to go to Playcentre the other night and she bought home all the playcentre babies to clean. When I woke up in the morning, Mummy and I had fun giving them all a bath and washing all their clothes.

My new swing!

A couple of months ago Daddy made me my very own swing! I think it's great! Zanzi loves to sit up top and watch me swinging.

Te Awamutu fun!

In the weekend we went to Te Awamutu to see Uncle Ali and Leanne.

We went walking to the playground and watch Uncle Ali get annihilated by Daddy at tennis. Whenever we go walking I want to pick Mummy flowers. I'm such as sweetie

I particulary liked the gingerbread man Mummy bought me from the bakery! Mmmm, delicious!

Keeping the house spotless

I have a fascination with the vacuum cleaner at the moment which Mummy thinks is fantastic. She gets me to clean up all the crumbs.

Pet Expo 2011

Mummy, Michelle and I went to the pet expo on Sunday. I got to see and pat lots of animals including goats, sheep, alpacas, bunnies, cats and dogs. I liked watching the dogs do tricks and I really like the golden retriever called Bella as well.

Moochie

Michelle has a new birman kitten called Moochie! I only got to see her for a few minutes the other day but I've already decided that I like her better than Zanzi! Poor Zanzi, he has to put up with a lot of body slamming lately!

Child labour

Daddy is getting lazy and gets me to do his chores! Well actually Daddy let me do the dishes to keep me busy so Mummy and Daddy could get ready to go out. It resulted in a lot of water on the floor but it did keep me busy!

My cheap trampoline

Mummy and Daddy still haven't bought me a trampoline. They can't decide whether to spend and arm and a leg and buy me the springfree one or just get me a standard trampoline. I'm not fussy! I just want something to jump on! In the meantime, I've discovered that Mummy's swiss ball makes a great trampoline provided Daddy holds on tight!

Dressing up pretty at playcentre

I've just started to show an interest in the dress up clothes at playcentre. I looks beautiful in the rainbow dress and it was so fun for dancing.

Toy catalogues!

Every toy store in Hamilton seems to be having a sale. It's great timing given my birthday is less than a month away. I'm obsessed by looking at my magazines. I wouldn't go to bed the other night until Daddy managed to distract me while Mummy hid the catalogues. My cousin Mackenzie is also obsessed by toy catalouges but appraently her addiction didn't start until she was 3!

The pet shop with Alex and Vinne

This morning I went to the pet shop with Alex and Vinnie. Vinnie and I got asked if we were twins again.

We got to see lots of animals including a dog that was being painted purple for the pet show! I got to pat a puppy, a kitten and a bunny rabbit and then I decided that I should pat Alex as he kept pretending to be a dog.

Out biking in the rain with Bubby Lulu

It never seems to stop raining here! Mummy and Daddy took me biking in the weekend and we got very wet! It was still fun though and it meant Daddy got to try out his new waterproof trousers.

Coat hanger fun!

I've discovered I'm just the right size to fit into coat hangers. They make the perfect skirt if you're an aspiring fashionista.

My big bed!

I have a new big bed! I've come up with a great plan! As the baby doesn't have a bed I've decided it can have mine and I'll sleep in my big bed. Mummy and Daddy seem very impressed with this plan. I've also decided the baby can have my towels and I've offered it my car seat too. I'm just so excited about the baby I'd give it my left kidney if it wanted it.

1 month until my birthday!

Can you believe in a month I'm going to be 2! I'm very excited about my birthday and especially my party! I told Mummy I want a cake, balloons and candles. Mummy has been busy doing my birthday invites and practising icing my cake.

I'm going through a "why?" phrase at the moment. I have to know the answer to everything. I'm also continuing with my "Mummy, I want to play with you" broken record. Mummy thinks it will be great when I have a playmate to entertain me.

Bye Bye Rarotonga

I didn't really want to leave Rarotonga! Luckily we were coming home to see Zanzi and Nanny or else I think I would have stayed.

Penina gave us pretty shell leaving necklaces which looked great on Bubby Lulu and me!

I liked going on the plane again although my obsession with the toilet wasn't so good when we didn't have an aisle seat. Also, there was turbulence so the pilot wouldn't let me get out of my seat!

I thought I was so grown up with my own roller bag.

Rarotonga photoshoot

Here are some of the photos Mummy and Daddy took of me looking pretty on the beach!

Relaxing on the bean bags

I loved the bean bags at our holiday house. I'd say to Mummy "Bubby Lulu and I are just relaxing". We each had our own bean bags which I thought was fantastic.

My first bus ride!

I finally got to ride on a bus in Rarotonga. I thought it was pretty neat that Bubby Lulu could even have her own seat.

The glass bottom boat

We went on a glass bottom boat. Finally I understood what Daddy was talking about when he kept saying look at the fish. I got to see lots of pretty coloured fish, some clams and even a big blue starfish. I made a little friend called Alyssa on the boat. We had a great time playing on the glass looking at all the fish. At the end of the trip the crew crowned both Alyssa and I princesses!

Kayaking in the lagoon

Our holiday house had kayaks so we made the most of them. I loved riding in Daddy's boat especially over the waves. However, I wish he'd let me do the paddling.
