Produce shopping with Mummy

Every week Mummy and I go produce shopping. Usually I'm in the front pack but last week I was a big girl and got to go in the trolley. Mummy even let me hold the brocolli which is one of my favourite vegetables!

My friend Mackenzie

Mackenzie was told that she could pick four friends to have over for her 4th birthday and she picked me! I'm so popular and I'm only 9 months old!!! Mackenzie is like my big sister!

Stair racing with Alex

I challenged my cousin Alex to a race up the stairs and I won!!

I'm a little cutey

Here's a picture of me in my winter hat!

Picnic inside

We went to Roman's house the other day and had a picnic. I got to catch up with my friend Sylvie who I think is the bees knees.

At the Lake with Cooper and Vinnie

The other day I walked around the lake with Aunty Leah, Cooper and Vinnie. I slept the whole way so I'd be refreshed to make the most of the playground. It was so nice to see my cousins. Hopefully, we're going to catch up again soon.

9 month plunket stats

So I thought you'd be glad to know that I'm becoming more in proportion. I'm now above the 15%ile for weight and below the 85%ile for height. I'm still tall and skinny but it's not as obvious now. I'm certainly as cute as ever!!!

My best friend Zanzi

So it turns out Zanzi and I like all the same things! We both carry pegs around in our mouth. We both like to chew on string and ribbons and eat the telephone cord. We both like to climb up the washing line and pull Mummy's folded washing onto the floor. We like to play with balls and zips. Zanzi even copies me when I touch the heater and I'm not supposed to. Best of all we both loves cuddles! When I'm up, Zanzi follows Mummy and I everywhere and we both try to get cuddles from Mummy. We play very well together but we also get up to mischief together. Mummy has decided that twins would be very hard work!!!

Another Trolley

Daddy made me another trolley. It's actually his hose reel but it works really well. This is the sort of toy Heath would love!

Dressing up with Granny

Granny lent me her scarf, handbag and mobile phone the other day. I thought I looked very sophiciticated. I even mananged to break into her mentos! I'm sure they're on the plunket food chart somewhere.

Cycling with Mummy and Daddy

Mummy and Daddy have bought me a pretty pink helmet so we can all go cycling together. Mummy has a new bike on order so she can tow me easily up the hill!

Kate's 30th Birthday

Last night Mummy and Daddy went out without me at night for the first time in 9.5 months. Kate was turning 30 so it was a very special occassion. I got to stay home with Granny and I didn't even wake up to play! I'm such a good baby!

High Tea with Dave and Michelle

The other day we went to visit Dave and Michelle and their little bump! Michelle cooked us the yummiest scones! I love their coffee table. It was the perfect height for standing.

Our new kitten Zanzi!

Today we went to the SPCA and picked up our new kitten! We've named him Zanzi after the island of Zanzibar in Africa. Zanzi is a real adventurer. He seems to be able to cope with my squeals of delight and move quickly from my grasp! I've been very gentle with him and I've even been trying to give him cuddles like I do with my soft toys!

Crawling for real

So after crawling on my tummy for 3 months, I decided it was time to show the world I could crawl like a normal baby too! Mummy and Daddy were very glad to see I could do both forms of crawling.

My new cycle trailer

Mummy and Daddy have bought me a flash new cycle trailer. Now they just need to find a helmet that will fit my little head. I think Mummy would like me to wear the helmet all the time right now. We need to get a big roll of cotton wool so Mummy can protect me!

Aunty Sarah's Birthday

Aunty Sarah is going to be in Christchurch for her birthday so we made her a cake early. Mummy was very impressed with her cooking efforts. I got to go to the park with Granny and Alex and Mackenzie. I love playing twins with Alex!

Aqua Play Gym

Last week, Mummy and I tried out Aqua Play Gym with Kerry and Roman at Te Rapa. It was lots of fun. There were lots of toys that I could paddle and kick after! There were mats for me to crawl along and slides to go down. Next week, I've invited my cousin Vinnie on a play date to try out Aqua Play Gym at the Gallagher Centre. I love water!

My Cotton Reel!

Granny buys me presents every month but the other day she gave me a cotton reel. I thought it was so fantastic that I carry it around in my mouth all day. If Mummy won't give me a dummy, I'll make my own!

Reaking havoc

I'm always getting up to mischief these days. I can pull everything out of the nappy bag or empty my nappy bucket with amazing speed. As quickly as Mummy cleans up, I manage to create a trail of destruction! Some how I know all about taking things out but I'm never keen to put them back in!

My new trolley

My Great Aunty Jo has lent me her wooden trolley and blocks. I can walk with Mummy's help or I can sit in the trolley and get Granny to push me round.

Mother's Day

I got my Mummy a massage voucher. On Mother's Day Granny and Grandad came for lunch and while Daddy and Grandad were busy in the Garden. Granny, Mummy and Me went walking by the river!

Standing up and getting into mischief

I saw Alex on Friday (2 days before my 9month birthday) and he was standing up. That night I decided I must be able to do that too. So after Alex's masterclass on standing I started pulling myself up on the couch. Now if Mummy looks away for a second, I'm climbing up the stairs or clinging onto a dining room chair. I think Mummy wishes we didn't have wood floors right now. Daddy says that I'm a daredevil like him.

Clapping my hands

I'm obsessed by clapping. I clap all the time even in my sleep! There's nothing like self appreciation. I've been learning lots lately so when Mummy and Daddy tell me I'm clever, I love to clap!
