Daddy's Biking

Matt has started going out with a road biking group on Saturday mornings. He looks hillarious dressed up in his 80's cycling kit complete with shiny bike pants.  It always makes me and Bella giggle!

Alex is 3!

Alex (my  nephew) is 3! That means in 6 weeks time Bella will be 3! Eeek! Zach and I missed his fabulous Pirate Party as I was sick was a cold/flu but Bella had a great time celebating with him. Zach got dressed up in a Party hat anyway!

A Duplo car for Daddy

Bella is becoming more and more creative with her Duplo play! This is a picture of a car she made for Daddy.

Bath time

When Bella and Zach aren't invading my shower, they've started sharing the bath! Bella thinks it's great to have a friend and Zach loves eating all Bella's bath toys!

Zach is 6 months old!

Wow, can you believe it my baby is 6 months old! Here are some picture of him on his 6 month birthday.  He's now 7.1 Kg (double his birth weight) and 67cm tall. He definitely has his Mummy's chubby cheeks and pretty blue eyes!

Daddy's running path!

Matt took us to see where he runs at lunchtime. Bella and I tested out our running. It was a nice scenic route along the river!

Zach's water bottle

Zach has been eyeing up Bella's bottle at bedtime. Now he's on solids we've strated to let him have some boiled water in a bottle. He thinks it's great!

Climbing

On Sunday morning we took Bella to Extreme Edge to try out the climbing walls! She did really well climbing up the walls but she was a little perplexed as to how to get down at first.

Mackenzie's 6th Birthday

Wow Mackenzie is 6! Where have the years gone? We went to McDonalds on Friday night to celebrate! Bella got her first ever happy meal with a toy which she's named "Willy the Whale".

My little boy!

Zach looks like a proper little boy in this shot. I think it's because the lighting shows all his hair! We're thinking his hair might still go curly as he's got lots of longer wispy bits which have at least a wave. Bella's hair was pretty straight at this age.

Crawling

Zach is continuing to move around. He's been trying to pull his back legs up. It always surprises me how far he can move even if it's not in the right direction! He certainly thinks he's clever! Whenever Bella finds him off his mat she grabs his legs and drags him back on. He seems to think it's a fun game and he hasn't lost a leg yet!

Bella's Kindy Award

Bella was so excited the other day when I picked her up from Kindy as she had got an award (or reward as she called it) for helping tidy up. Her new favourite teacher "Angela" had given it to her for tidying up the dolls house!

Zach's toothbrush

Now Zach has a tooth he gets to brush his teeth which he absolutely loves!

Playground fun and 2 wheels!

Bella is getting so confident at the playground. She insists on doing everything without our help! She's great at balancing and climbing. Zach loves watching from the comfort of the pram in his selection of warm snuggly clothes!

In the weekend we changed Bella's runner bike from a trike to a two wheeler. After 5 minutes and Daddy not being so cautious she was riding like a pro! What a clever girl!

Connor and Jacob

On Tuesday Michelle and the twins came visit and we managed to go for our first walk together since the twins were born! The boys were all very tired so the pictures aren't the best but you can see they're all about the same size and all very cute!

We walked to see the horses near Harrowfield. Bella wanted us to visit the pink horse with a polkadot tail and greeny/blue eyes that lives there in Summer but visits in Winter. We caught a quick glimpse of this imaginary horse before it had to go home!

Mummy and the kids!

There's hardly ever any pictures of me with Bella and Zach. This isn't the greatest picture but at least it's a picture of me with my two lovely kids! We did manage to get a few shots of Zach looking cute too! It's pretty easy as he loves smiling at the camera or in fact anyone or anything!

Looking cute!

Zach is just so cute! Everyone comments on his gorgeous blue eyes and long dark eye lashes! While I've always thought he looked like a real boy, Matt commented that he thinks Zach looks good in pink! We have a few pink bibs that Zach wears around the house when no ones looking.

Fun at the Lake

It was freezing in the weekend but nice and sunny. We went to the lake and Bella enjoyed the big slide and the rest of the playground.
