Nanny

I can't quite say Granny yet so I've renamed her Nanny. Every day or every couple of hours I say to Mummy "Nanny" and she's says "not today". I say "no" with a very sad look on my face. I especially ask for Nanny when I'm looking out the window and I see a car coming up the street. Here's a picture of me waiting for Nanny to come.

Coffee group in the sun

Today we met the other babies at Tauhara Park where they have a really great playground for little kids. I especially liked driving my very own car. Mummy dressed me up for Winter but since daylight savings has started it feels like Summer. In the afternoons, I've been helping Mummy in the garden and I seem to get so wet watering the plants that I end up running around in just my nappy!

My dollies

I love my dollies Belinda and Lauren. Mummy and Daddy think that I look like Bindy with my ever expanding afro and that Lauren looks a bit like Mackenzie with her long dark brown hair and pretty dresses.

I like to make my dollies do the Wiggly Woo. This is one of my favourite songs from Jumping Beans where we wiggle side to side.

Bush walk

In the weekend, Mummy, Daddy and I went for a bush walk in the Hakarimatas. On the way home we stopped to see some farm animals too!

Daddy Daddy Daddy

I'm going through a Daddy phase at the moment. I spend my days saying "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy". Mummy always replies, he's at work but he'll be home later to play. I love when he comes home for me! Here's a picture of me giving Daddy one of my cheesy smiles!

Adventures with Granny

Granny has been taken Mummy and I on adventures. Last week we went to find a country tea house and a new playground. This week we went to a fun new toy shop and the library. I insisted on walking rather than riding in my pushchair. At the library we even found a rocking horse.

Catch me if you can!

Nappy changing and getting me dressed are becoming increasingly challenging for my Mummy. I won't stay still for a second. I think it's fun to stand on my change table and climb down off it. Here's a picture of me after I escaped from Mummy AGAIN! He he!

Chores chores chores!

I love helping Mummy do the chores. I still have an OCD for cleaning. Poor Zanzi is always getting washed by me! I find cloths anywhere and everywhere and start my cleaning frenzy.

Mummy gets me to push the washing basket along and then I pull the washing off the line as quick as Mummy puts it up. I don't see why we have to wait for it to dry.

I help Mummy clean the windows by leaning against them and putting more hand prints on them while I rub away. I can't understand while Mummy seems to clean them again after me!

Mummy lets me feed Zanzi now. I get the biscuits out the cupboard, take them to the laundry where Mummy fills his bowl and then I take the biscuits back. The other day I tried to get an unopened packet of biscuits out of the cupboard which weighed 1.5kg and I face planted myself on the kitchen floor. Oh no!

Meeting Cousin Imogen

Yesterday I met my new cousin Imogen for the first time. She's 2.5 months old and super cute. Daddy came home for lunch so he could see Aunty Ruth and Imogen too. After seeing the baby I kept saying "Bubby" all afternoon.

Toddler Fun

Now I'm a big girl I only have one sleep. This means that Mummy and I can play lots of games all day. Today I learned to blow bubbles, went to the park and had running races up and down the lawn. I'm a busy little lady. This is a picture of me at Jumping Beans when Granny came to watch!

Hanging out with lots of babies

This week has been filled with seeing lots of babies! Kaden came to visit me on Tuesday and shared his Mum Mum cracker with me. Max came to visit me on Thursday and we went to Aqua play gym and Alex came over on Friday for cake. It seems I'm a very popular lady with the boys! It may be my pretty pink headband that attracts them.

Mummy and I also held coffee group here on Friday so I got to see all my friends. When Mummy told me in the morning that Caleb, Malaika, Emily, Sylvie and Keeley were all coming over to my place, I clapped my hands furiously!

Sylvie also invited me for a play date on Sunday. Her Mummy makes very tasty cakes!

Dressing up!

I love to dress up. The other day I disappeared and Mummy found me in the laundry wearing her hat reading the Holidays catalogue. I'm hoping Daddy will take me to Fiji one day soon. I've also discovered I can pull Mummy and Daddy's clothes out of their drawers. Mummy's tops make great dresses on me!

Ellie comes to town!

Mummy's friend Ellie came to visit us. We haven't seen her in ages!!! She thought I'd grown lots! She makes yummy ginger cake. We all hope she comes to see us again soon!

Building our vege garden

The last two weekends I have been helping Daddy build his vege garden. He's finally finished it ready to put in the plants next weekend. Granny and Grandad have been helping too! I can't wait to eat all the yummy veges!

My dolls

I have two dolls which I just love. They used to be Mummy's dollies. One is called Lauren and the other is called Belinda but we just call her Bindy. Here's a picture of me taking Bindy for a spin in my dolls pram that Granny bought me.

My new togs

Here's a picture of me in my new togs getting ready for Aqua Play Gym. I look a little aprehensive in this photo as a lot of ladies were cooing over me saying that I was like a very cute cherub! This week Haley and Max are going to join us for swimming. Yay!

My new car

The laundry basket makes a great car. I can ride around with all my toys. Sometimes I push them around but I much prefer when I can climb in the washing basket too and then Mummy had to do all the work!

Daddy's slippers

When Daddy is at work I like to carry around his slippers saying "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy". Here's a picture of me trying them out for size.

Father's Day

We had a super busy Father's day. After Daddy had tried out his new coffee plunger, we went walking, biking, attended a Toddler course and did lots of work in the garden. Mummy also cooked a yummy roast dinner.

I love being outdoors. I even got to to play with a big worm.
