Vinnie Vinnie Vu

On Wednesday, Leah and I walked around the lake with Vinnie, Bella and Zach. The girls took their scooters but that didn't last long! After trying to ride them sitting down they gave up. Zach was so well behaved in his pram it was easy to forget he was there. I think he was so glad to be outside enjoying the sunshine!

You wouldn't believe that a 4km walk could take 2 hours! We of course had to stop to feed the ducks and play at the playground!

Mmmmm Barzurk!

Since Bella's birthday I've been testing out eating dairy again! Oh my godness it's sooooo delicious!

To celebrate being back on dairy we went to Barzurk for lots of yummy cheesy pizza! Unfortunately, it's not working out too well and the 2 week trial is nearly over. Zach keeps throwing up and lately has decided that he's given up milk altogether so I think I'll have to come off it again! I've got 2 more days to eat all the foods I've been missing!

I think Zach has forgotten he's only 7 months old. He keeps climbing up on everything! One minute he's playing with the flap on the DVD player, the next in climbing in the Ottoman, then he's off to the playhouse or trying to get up on the chair to watch out the window and on the way he stops off to climb up the washing rack! I can't take my eyes off him for a second!

Bella and Zach are on a billboard advertising the photography services of the lady who did Zach's newborn photoshoot! We were very excited to hear that Kerrilee would be using a picture of them and that we would get a free photoshoot!

Michelle didn't make it to Bella's party so we had a mini celebation on another day!

Zach looks so cute in the bath! He's such a big boy now that he sits up all by himself!

Keeley and Oscar's Birthday Party

Keeley and Oscar had a fabulous birthday party in the weekend! There was lots of yummy food. It was great having the party at the farm. We got to feed the cow and chickens! Bella's shoes were replaced by gumboots!

There was also a face painter, playdough, and bubbles. Keeley's Mummy made up goodie bags which Bella loved!

Zach in a tutu!

Matt was less than impresed that I dressed Zach in a tutu for the fairy party! I thought he looked great! He thought his skirt was great texture for eating!

Bella's Fairy Party!

To celebrate Bella turning 3, we had a fairy party! She had lots of fun with her friends decorating shortbread fairy wands, jumping on the bouncy castle, enjoying lots of bubbles and playing games like pass the parcel and pin the wings on the fairy! Her fairy cake turned out well and tasted delicious!

Sonya and Max

It was so exciting to see Sonya and Max the other day! Sonya and Max's Daddy (Toby) are engaged!!! We are really looking forward to the wedding! It was so much fun hearing about all the planning - dresses, guests, locations etc. Given they've just got engaged, they're very organised!

Zach and Max had fun playing together. Don't tell Sonya's Mum but Zach ate her rabbit footstool and looked like he had a beard! He also managed to make Sonya's necklace rather soggy. The boys were both keen to escape outside. Perhaps they weren't as interested in the wedding conversations as us!

My handsome boy!

Zach is a very handsome lad! Some people think he looks just like his  Daddy others are convinced he looks just like my Dad! He's definitely got McLauchlan cheeks and eyes but I think he may have his Daddy's nose and mouth.

Beautiful 2 year old girls!

There's only a very small window (less than 2 weeks) when Ava, Lilah and Bella are all the same age! They're approximately 6 months apart! It was nice to have all the little girls together. Zach is waiting for Lilah and Ava to get younger brothers so he'll have playmates! It looks like he's going to be 1 or 2 before that happens!

Work phone!

Bella continues to adore Matt's work phone! She treats it just like one of her kids! She was less than impressed the other day when Daddy had finished being on call so he needed to give the work phone to someone else in his team. Bella doesn't like Daddy sharing the work phone. She wishes he was on call all the time. Work phone has a special non slip bath matt and bed ready for when he's staying at our house! We had to take a picture of work phone so Bella can look it at when Daddy isn't on call!

Miss Ava

Bella was very lucky that Ava came all the way from Wellington for her 3rd Birthday Party! Bella and Ava had lots of fun playing together! Ava even told her Mummy that Bella was her best friend!

Zach the mischief maker

Zach is a little mischief maker at the moment. He keeps getting into everything. I have to be on constant Zach watch!

He keeps climbing up on the furniture and crusing along it. He loves playing with the DVD player and trying to get into rubbish bins. He also loves electrical cords and climbing up the washing line.

He even managed to climb our full flight of stairs yesterday! I've been using upstairs like a large play pen but he's managed to find quite a few hazards.

I've been putting him in socks and stretch and grows with feet but they don't seem to deter him they just mean he more likely to slip! I think I'm going to have to accept my baby is getting big! I think he'll be walking by 8 or 9 months! Eeeek!!!
