Izzy comes to stay!
My friend Izzy came to stay for 5 nights. She was so fun to play with. Her Mummy and Daddy are taking her away to live in the UK. I think she'd prefer to stay in NZ with me and my Noah's ark.
Mummy and I tried to sabotage their plans by arranging a volcano in Iceland but unfortunately they still got on the plane and left. Boo! I am going to miss Izzy lots and Mummy is going to miss Aunty Janey. We're counting down until they return for a holiday in 2012. In the meantime we're trying to convice Daddy that we need to go to London to visit as well as for a shopping trip!

Michelle's Birthday!
Shell had her 30th birthday party the other day. It was lots of fun. There was an adventure race where you had to do lots of activities in teams. Mummy and I completed the mini golf task on our first try while everyone else seemed to struggle. We had lots of fun watching people scramble across the pool and get saturated. The egg throwing and catching resulted in a lot of mess. Shell is such a good organiser! Here's a picture of me wrapped up nice and warm enjoying the bbq.
My christening
I was finally christened on Easter Monday. Uncle Geoff and Aunty Janey are my godparents. We had a little church service at St Joseph's church then we invited people back to our house for morning tea. I wore a pretty white dress and they tipped water on my head! Aunty Sarah made me a yummy cake. I got spoilt with some nice gifts including a pretty bracelet, a Noah's ark, a bowl and some great books.
Our holiday to the Blue Lake - Part 3
On holiday Mummy and Daddy took me to Paradise Valley Springs. They had lots of animals including a lion cub called Chase that I could pat. Mummy said I needed to be gentle with him and not pull out his whiskers.
I really loved feeding the farm animals especially the goats, donkey and horse. I squealed with delight and did a lot of flapping to show I was extra excited. The goats even let me pull their ears!
Our holiday to the Blue Lake - Part 2
When we were on holiday, I had to bath in a big green tub! I got to go on the trampoline which I thought was the best thing in the world. I continued to enjoy pulling Daddy's nose and giving him lots of slaps! It means I love him really. I even tried to brush his teeth! We got some steamy hot pool and boiling mud and even soak our feet in a big warm bath!
Our holiday to the Blue Lake - Part 1
Mummy, Daddy and I went on holiday to the Blue Lake in Rotorua last week. We stayed in Grandad's caravan. It was so much fun that Mummy didn't want to come home. It was cold at night but really nice and sunny during the day. I got to go swimming in the lake and go on lots of bush walks. Daddy did some mountain biking and running too.
