Sarah's 41st Birthday!

This morning we went over to Aunty Sarah's for a birthday morning tea! We took her a yummy dairy free banana cake and some flowers including red gerberas which are apparently her favourite.

Lucia's 2nd Ballet Class

We couldn't find Lucia's ballet tutu (it turned out it was in the wash) so she got to wear her pretty fairy outfit to ballet.

Miss Collette was away so she had Miss Louise take the class. The teacher commented on how good she was a copying! She did really well and even learnt how to gallop!

Leap with Maia and Tayla

On Friday after school we went to Leap with Maia and Tayla. Most of my photos were blurry as the kids were jumping around madly! Unfortunately Bella got hurt by a rather large adult man but she still managed to crawl through the commando bouncy castle and hop around playing dodge ball.

Mothers' Day

I had a lovely Mothers' Day. The kids spoilt me with new pyjamas, chocolate and daffodil bulbs. Matt gave me a voucher for a new phone so I am currently waiting for my new Sony Xperia Z5 to arrive!

We went for a scooter/bike ride to the fejoa tree. Bella (with a bit of help from Daddy) made me waffles for morning tea. Nanny and Grandad came over for afternoon tea and Matt cooked a yummy dinner.

I received some beautiful cards including one with a poem from Bella. This week I went to her assembly and she read out her beautiful poem. I was a very proud Mummy!

The Nugget

Matt and Mike won the half Nugget in Waihi in the weekend! Matt did the running and Mike did the mountain biking! Their team had the interesting name of Teamy McTeam Face. This was because the most popular name for a boat in the news was Boaty McBoat Face. Boys and their ideas!!!

After the race we got to have a little paddle, or in the case of the girls, a swim at the beach! Swimming in May - who would have thought!
