Playdate with Alyssa!

Bella and Zach got to enjoy a fun playdate with Alyssa from Kindy (and her big brother Taylor) at Callum Brae Playground.

Baby Claudia comes to visit!

Adrienne bought her beautiful daughter over to play! She is 3 months old and makes Lucia seem so big! Zach and teddy were waiting at the window for their arrival. Claudia has 3 older brothers so she is going to be very well looked after.

Our Beautiful Ballerina

After visiting 3 ballet schools, Bella decided that she wanted to dance at Valerie Lissette this year. The first class was great with Valerie balancing technique with fun. Unfortunately the next class was not as good as Valerie had hurt her back and they had a replacement teacher. We'll have to see how it goes this term.

Hope comes to play

On Thursday Bella's friend from Kindy (Hope) came over to play! Bella and Hope had so much fun flitting from one activity to the next. I'm pretty sure they tried all the toys inside and outside. When Hope's Mum's came to pick Hope up neither of them wanted it to be over. Bella can't wait to have another playdate with Hope!

Messy Eater

Lucia's Aunty's and Uncles kept saying what a tidy eater she was over the Christmas holidays. We figured it was because she's so greedy she wouldn't want to miss out on any food. It seems she may have learnt a thing or two from Angus and Ben. Tippy certainly enjoyed the mess spread everywhere!

Bella in her new uniform

The uniforms for Endeavour Primary School were delayed after a factory fire in China. Here is Bella finally all dressed in her new school uniform. She just loves school! She spends her days skipping and hula hooping and having lots of fun!

My Mischief Maker

Lucia is always climbing up things and getting into mischief. You only have to take your eyes off her for a second and she's disappeared on an adventure. Here she is using the washing racks as a climbing frame. Most of her antics are so dangerous I can't capture them on camera!

Bella the Mummy

Bella is such a great Mummy to her dolls. Here she is in the morning making sure they all get a turn at doing the puzzle.

Meeting the Van Ree Carsons at the Playground

On Saturday we met the Van Ree Carsons at Callum Brae Playground. They're moving to Melbourne soon. Bella and Zach had lots of fun playing with Mia while Erica and Ian tried to convince Hamish to sleep.

Like all kids, Lucia just loves the Little Tikes car and trailer.

The Farmers Market with Lilah and Eloise

The kids and I met Michelle, Lilah and Eloise at the Farmers Market on Sunday. We got some delicious strawberries, avocaodoes, eggs and fresh bread. Bella and Zach loved the toy chicken at the egg stall which laid them each their first ever Jaffa. The kids enjoyed running up and down the hills, and as you can see wouldn't keep still for any photos!

Daddy's Helpful Assistants

Lucia always makes a job takes three times as long. Here she is trying to help Daddy while he builds some cubes. She usually eats the instructions and tries to swallows all the small pieces while getting in the way. Bella was super helpful at making the cubes. She read out the instructions and told Matt which pieces he needed and where they went. She was the brains behind the operation.

The Darby's come for dinner!

On Waitangi Day the Darby Family came over for a bbq. The kids had lots of fun in the pool and putting on makeup. Don't you just love Oscar's shiny lipstick and Zach's coloured eye brows?!? The girls looked gorgeous as always.
