Alex's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Alex's real birthday with morning tea. Aunty Sarah had made him another really cool cake which was delicious! It was the shape of teddy bear and it looked just like Alex's favourite bear. Alex got a train set for his birthday and one of the trains was called Isabella. He also got a tool bench which I thought was pretty neat. I love going to Aunty Sarah's house as they have so many toys.

Pizza night

On Saturday, Mummy and Daddy invited the Fielders over for dinner. We had pizza and apple flour. I think Mummy was trying to make apple crumble but she forgot to add some of the butter. I wish my Mummy could cook like Aunty Sarah then maybe I'd be as big as Alex! Annabelle came dressed in her ballet gear. She's so pretty.

Playing chasing

I love playing chasing. Daddy chases me up and down the hallway before bed. It might not be the best activity for making me go to sleep but I think it's lots of fun

Cute curls

My hair is getting curlier and curlier! Mummy, Cooper, and I all have matching hair. Check it out!

Grandad has a new caravan

On Sunday we went to see Grandad's new caravan. It's so flash! We can't wait to take it on holiday. Bring on Summer.

Granny loves seaweed too!

I love my Granny. She comes to visit me every week. She thinks we're very similar. Here is a picture of Granny and I eating our favourite seaweed crackers.

I love being outdoors

I think it's unfair that Zanzi always gets to play outside so I like to sneak out the door after him when Mummy's not watching.

Mummy has been trying to get a nice picture of me to put on my 1st Birthday invite and in the process got quite a few extras.

Baby Signing

Mummy has been teaching me baby sign language. Given my Mummy is a hygiene freak, it's not really surprising that one of my first signs was washing my hands. I've worked out how to completely manipulate Mummy by adding puppy dog eyes when I do my milk sign. This is a picture of me doing my "where" sign.

Alex and Mackenzie's Party

On Saturday we went to Alex and Mackenzie's joint birthday party. The dress up theme was Peter Pan so I went as Tinkerbell. I looked super cute.

My new bike seat

So as well as my bike trailer, Mummy and Daddy also bought me a bike seat. They love spending money on me!

Tissue Chaos

Mummy left me alone for 2 minutes while she sorted out my nappy so I thought I'd pull out all the tissues, tear them up and eat them. I love pulling out the wet wipes when Mummy's not looking too!

Autumn Arboretum

Last weekend Mummy and Daddy took me to the Arboretum to see the Autumn colours. Unfortunately most of the trees had already lost their leaves or were evergreen trees. I didn't mind though. I just liked being out in the fresh air and feeding the ducks and chickens.

Mummy and Daddy take me walking to the playground all the time. I love going on the swing and slide and the little rocking bike.

Adventures with Zanzi

Zanzi and I have lots of fun together. He likes to ride in my trolley while I push it along. He likes to chase the wheels. We also like to play with coat hangers together. He's very gentle with me and I love him lots. I try to give him cuddles which results in me squishing him with my whole body weight.

Play date with Sylvie

Last week Sylvie and I had a playdate. She totally knows how to work the camera!

Alex comes to play

My cousin Alex came over to play today but I was sleeping for an hour and half. Lucky I woke up before his Mummy got back so Alex and I could play. I got to chase him down the hallway!

Jumping Beans

The other day me and the babies from our nurturing newborns coffee group tried out jumping beans. It was lots of fun. We got to climb, roll, shuffle, crawl, sing, dance etc. Hopefully Mummy's going to to let me go regularly from July.

Coffee Group

On Tuesday Mummy and I held coffee group at our house. We took a picture of all of us together. We are all around 10 months old in this photo.

Grandad's Birthday!

On Sunday, we went to Little Clydesdales in Pirongia and enjoyed lunch with Grandad to celebrate his birthday. I got to see horses, a donkey, a bunny rabbit and some sheep. I also got to see my cousins which was lots of fun!
