My first vist to the dental nurse

I was a little apprehensive about visiting the dental nurse but she was really nice and gave me a balloon and sticker. I didn't want to open my mouth but when I finally let her have a look she said I had "lovely pearly white teeth". I was very proud and told Daddy when he got home that I had lovely pretty white teeth. Here's a picture of me showing off my extra cheesy smile!

Summer swimming!

In the weekend I had my first swim in my paddling pool. I was just going to enjoy some water play but I accidentally sat down in the pool so I decided I might as well get in. It was pretty cold but lots of fun!

Mikey's 40th Birthday

On Saturday night we went to Jamie and Kyle's house for Mikey's 40th birthday. I dressed up in my pretty red dress to show Vinnie. Mackenzie made quite an entrance in her princess outfit! We had a yummy bbq for dinner!

Preschool Party!

Vinnie invited me to a preschool party to fundraise for providing clean water for 3 villages in Thailand. She didn't actually mention this to me she just said "do you want to come to the bouncy castle on Wednesday" which of course I couldn't refuse!

We had lots of fun eating treats, going on the bouncy castle, playing with other toys, fishing, dressing up and getting our faces painted.

Zoo trip with Keeley and Malaika

On Friday I went to the zoo with Keeley and Malaika from my coffee group. We had lots of fun playing at the playground, chasing a peacock, watching the monkeys and seeing a giraffe close up.

Nanny comes to Kindy

Nanny came and got me from Kindy the other day. I loved showing her round. She dressed me up in a funny blue wig!

I think Kindy is fabulous. I especially like the head teacher Talia as she does mat time with lots of singing and stories. Talia said to Mummy the other day that I was very kind and caring and she thought I might be a nurse one day. Mummy thinks I'm more likely to be a doctor or a vet as I'm so clever!

Our vege garden

In the weekend Daddy and I did some more planting in the garden. We're growing peas, snow peas, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, courgette, cucumber and lots of herbs.

Goldilocks

Today is nursery rhyme day at Kindy. I went as Goldilocks with my 3 bears.

Lilah's House

I've been asking to go to Lilah's house so I can play with her doll Fifi (a Bubby Lulu lookalike). She's also got a blue doll called Michael that looks like Bubby Lulu too!

We had a lovely dinner and I liked making Lilah laugh by panting like a dog! I've already asked to go back to Lilah's house!

Face painting

We went to Mitre 10 for plants and I came out looking like a butterfly!

Nanny's Double Pushchair

We have a double pushchair so I decided I could make Nanny's pushchair into a double one too by climbing in the basket. Bubby Lulu had the priority seat!

Mummy's Birthday!

Mummy was a bit sad on her birthday because of Zanzi but Daddy and I did our best to cheer her up. We took her for run/bike up to the windmills and then we went out to lunch in Raglan. At afternoon tea time, Nanny came over with a cake.

Mummy was lucky to get a flip (video camera) from Daddy and I, some flowers from her friends and a docking station for her laptop from Nanny and Grandad.

Funny Quotes

I'm always making Mummy and Daddy laugh with what comes out of my mouth.

Tonight I said to Mummy "Nanny says I eat a horse. Bubby Lulu's Nanny's says she eats a donkey. I don't eat horse!".

Rest in Peace Zanzi

Today Mummy and I went on Zanzi hunt and found he'd been hit and killed by a car! Poor Zanzi was such a good pussy cat. We will miss him lots!

Warm October

Summer is definitely on it's way. I got to use my tea set with water for the very first time the other day. I love having a tea party with Mummy, Bubby Lulu and Izzy.

Pony Tail

Mummy put my hair in a pony tail the other day! I looked so cute!

My imaginary friends

I have two very special imaginary friends and an imaginary cat.

Bubby Lulu has a Daddy called Mike, a Mummy called Aunty Leah and a cat called Murlotta. I'm also Bubby Lulu's Mummy. I spend a lot of time talking about how Mike works at Fonterra and watching Mike's sport games. He can do flips you know. Aunty Leah and Mike also like to drive trucks and toot. Bubby Lulu has a house in town so we often have to drop her off there.

My imagination never ceases to amaze Mummy and Daddy. I have an answer for everything!

Izzy in the bath

Nanny gave me a doll a few months ago and we never got around to naming her. I used to call her Nanny's baby but then Mummy suggested we give her a name. Mummy came up with lots of names that she likes but perhaps aren't practical to call our baby but I decided I'd like to call her Izzy! One day I hoping my friend Izzy from London will come to visit and then I'll have two Izzys to play with!

Since Izzy has a name I like her even more and want to take her everywhere. I especially like when she comes in the bath with me.

My first drop off at Kindy

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning I get to go to Kindy. Mummy was very nervous about dropping me off on Tuesday but after I was settled she said goodbye and it went really well.

When I got home I was a new confident girl. When anyone asked me how Kindy was, I said "fabulous". On Tuesday we did face painting, nail polish and hair dressing. We also got to play outside in the sun. Kindy is so much fun!

Nanny's Birthday

Nanny turned 65! When Mummy told me how old Nanny was I said "oh my goodness"!

On Sunday we went to Woodlands with my cousins to celebrate. Mummy and I made Nanny a flower cake. It took us a very long time but she seemed to like it.

On Nanny's actual birthday we went out to Te Awamutu and because all my cousins were away I got to have lots of special time with Nanny and Grandad. I loved having them all to myself! I loved going in Nanny's "enormous" bath!

Mummy thinks it's hillarious that I think Nanny's real name is "Super". Nanny's name is Sue and she says "Super" all the time so it makes sensse that Sue is short for super. It's a great name for Nanny because she is super in my eyes!

Staying in Uncle Ali's Apartment

We went to Auckland for 3 nights and stayed in Uncle Ali's apartment. I was very impressed that his house had a swimming pool! It also had a tennis court but we didn't get around to using that. I kept showing Mummy around the apartment saying "look what Uncle Ali's got".

The Rugby World Cup!

When we were in Auckland we got to explore the Viaduct and party central for the Rugby World Cup! I asked Mummy "will there be ducks at the Viaduct?" I was a bit disappointed we didn't see any. Daddy got to go to party central at night to watch the rugby.

The Ferry to Devonport

Mummy and I really wanted to go to Rangitoto Island but Daddy decided the weather wouldn't make the trip too much fun so we went to Devonport instead. Mummy had to explain to me that Rangitoto was nothing like Rarotonga even though they sounded similar so I wasn't so disappointed.

In Devonport we got to play at the playground, go to a kids cafe and walk up Victoria Hill to see the view of Auckland city!
