My new lawnmower

Nana Joy and Grandad John bought me a lawnmower for Christmas. I absolutely love lawnmowers so I was a very happy little lady! Daddy and I can now mow the lawn together!

Kerryn and Amos

This morning Kerryn and Amos came to visit. Amos and I played with my dolls and teapot! He brought some flowers for me and when I gave him a yoyo he gave me a kiss!

Uncle Ali

Uncle Ali or "man" as I like to call him came to visit for Christmas. He was only here for a few days but he'll be back again soon.

Boxing Day

On Boxing Day we went out to Raglan beach! I loved playing in the sand. I even got to go for a quick dip with Daddy. Here's a picture of me and my littlest cousin Imogen!

Christmas at Granny and Grandad's House!

I've decided I love Christmas as it means I get to see loads of Granny! We went out to Granny's house for Christmas dinner. It was lots of fun. There was a big water fight, water play in Granny's new water tray, dancing, a lolly scramble and more presents! As usual I loved playing in the toy car!

Christmas at our house!

Yay, Christmas finally came! I got all of my favourite things. Santa spoiled me rotten with a bike, a flutter board, some bubbles, a chocolate Santa, some paints and Slinky Malinki book!

On Christmas morning I got to enjoy all my new presents until Mummy put her neck out. We had to take a quick trip to A&E but I slept the whole time so it didn't really affect my Christmas. When we got home we got to eat yummy pancakes. Then Daddy took me to the playground while Mummy made trifle. After my sleep we went to Granny's house for more Christmas celebrations.

Church

On Christmas Eve, we went for our annual visit to Church. I think Church is lots of fun as Nanny and Mackenzie go to Church and I can dance to all the music!

Big Boy Oscar!

Nad, Rene and Oscar are finally back in New Zealand. Oscar has grown so tall he almost reaches the sky! He's 2 now so I suppose that's why he's such a big boy now!

I love painting

Next year, Mummy and I are starting playcentre on Monday and Wednesday mornings. I'm very excited as it means I will get to do lots of painting as well as playing in the water, the sandpit, on the swing and with all the other toys.

Harrowfield Lights

Mummy and Daddy took me to see the Harrowfield lights. They were very impressive compared to our minature Christmas tree. When I'm bigger I'm going to make Daddy decorate our house in lights too!

1st Person

On Sunday Daddy was saying I wonder when Bella will start speaking in 1st person and by Tuesday I'd come up with three new phrases: "I did it", I'm finished" and "Come with me". This talking thing is a breeze!

Miffy comes to visit!

Today Miffy came to visit us! She brought me a book about holidays and also some yummy chocolate and bisucuits for Mummy. She can come and visit anytime!!!

I loved playing with her i-phone. I worked out how to scroll through her pictures and I liked bopping to Bob Marley too!

More swimming!

In the weekend, Mummy and Daddy tell me it's a Daddy day and when I hear it's a Daddy day I say "swim, swim, swim".

Daddy is pretty happy as Environment Waikato have announced the River is safe for swimming so Mummy can't complain it's dirty. Daddy and I will be able to go swimming even more now!

My Kindy Christmas Party!

On Friday, I had my Kindy Christmas Party. It was amazing. There were ponies, a disco room with lots of cool Christmas lights, a ball pit, a bouncy castle and lots of yummy treats.

I got to see Santa too and he gave me a book. I thought he was pretty cool! Mummy had shown me picture of Santa already so I was pretty excited to meet him in person. I'm often say "Ho Ho Ho, Santa".

Daddy's work party!

On Thursday, I got to meet some of Daddy's work friends! We went to Callum Brae and played at the playground! As always, I spent most of my time in the cars driving, driving, driving! Unfortunately, it was very wet but we still had fun!

Mackenzie comes to play!

On Thursday afternoon, Mackenzie came to play at my house! We had lots of fun playing "Jane and the Dragon". Mackenzie and I got to be princesses. We also made a pretend swimming pool with a blue sheet!

Potty Update

Today Mummy let me run around with no nappy and I managed to do a wee on my potty all by myself.

Funny Nanny!

I've decided Nanny is funny because she parps her horn so now I call her "funny Nanny"! I often call myself "cheeky Bella".

Nanny knows what I like to do. Today, she took me to the balloon cave. The other day she took me to the playground and then the pet shop. I loved going on the swing and watching the bunnies noses twitch up and down.

Our Christmas Tree

I love turning the lights on and off on our little Christmas tree. I made a pretty decoration at Playcentre to put on the tree which I'm very proud of.

A busy Sunday morning!

In the weekend Mummy and I dragged Daddy to aqua playgym. He was very impressed with my paddling and kicking. In fact a lot of people in the pool were impressed with my swimming. A dad of 3 or 4 year old was telling his daughter to look at me as I was kicking away furiously.

After swimming we went for a walk and came across a toy train. I got to go for a ride with Daddy.

Talking

I'm such a chatterbox. The other morning I said "wake up Daddy, get dressed". I seem to be putting more and more words together. I'll be speaking in full sentences before you know it!

The Plunket nurse was very impressed with my talking. She said children of my age can only say 5 or 6 words but Mummy counted well over 100 words that I can clearly say. Given our visit was 3 weeks ago I can say even more now!

The Te Awamutu Christmas Parade

On Saturday we went to Granny and Grandad's house and they took us to the Christmas Parade. Aunty Sarah, Mackenzie and Alex came too!

I liked all the vehicles going toot toot when they passed us. I also liked when Santa came past as Mummy said he brings presents.

I Love Swimming!

I love swimming so much that Mummy and Daddy had to take me twice in one day. We went down to the river and Daddy did some swimming in the river while Mummy and I paddled.

Crops from the garden!

We are getting lots of veges out of our garden. We've been eaten brocolli, peas, snow peas, baby carrots, beans and cherry tomatoes.

Daddy's shoes

Like every little lady, I love shoes! I like putting on Daddy's shoes but walking in them is very difficult.

Horsham Downs Gala

On Saturday Mummy and Daddy took me to my first school gala day! We were there on the orders of Mike and Jen! I got to ride a pony and jump on a bouncy castle.

Merry Christmas!

In the weekend Mummy and Daddy tried to get a picture of me in my Santa hat! We also put up our little Christmas tree which I think is great. I love turning the lights on and off!

Mmmm peas from the garden!

We're started reaping the benefits of having a garden. I got to eat peas straight out of the pod. Mmmmm!

Fashionista!

I've already started given Mummy grief about what I wear. The other day when we were in Pumpkin Patch looking for shorts I kept picking up the shortest denim cut offs I could find and giving them to Mummy who said "there's no way you're going to be wearing those". Here's a picture of me remodelling my pjs so that I can show a bit more skin!

Coffee group

We had coffee group at Jane and Malaika's house last week. They have a lovely gully section. I loved riding in the toy boat!

Don't leave me unattended with a plate of Spaghetti!

So just as Mummy had got my lunch ready, Granny rung to chat. Mummy stupidly gave me a plate of spaghetti which I managed to cover myself in from head to toe. Needless to say we were a little late to coffee group!

The life of a busy Mummy!

Here I am running around with bubby Lulu in her capsule with my nappy bag. Thanks Mackenzie for loaning me some of your toys!

Fun at Aunty Sarah's

The other day we went to Aunty Sarah's to borrow the Santa hat and pick up some clothes but she has so many great toys we ended up spending the afternoon there. I think Mackenzie and Alex are very lucky to have such an awesome backyard with a slide, a house, a sandpit and lots of lovely green grass.

Playcentre

Next term Mummy and I have been offered a place at the River Downs playcentre. The other day we did our first introductory session. I thought playcentre was way better than Kindy as Mummy stayed and played with me. I didn't quite last the whole session as I often go to bed about 10.30am in the morning but I'm sure I'll be able to do it by early Feb.

Jumping beans

Jamie is the Jumping Beans Mascot. I think he's great and I like to give him cuddles. I'm really enjoying jumping beans again. I don't see why all the activities have to finish for the school holidays. Boo!

Sylvie comes over for a swim!

On Sunday, my friend Sylvie and her Mummy and Daddy came over for a Christmas drink. Sylvie and I got to play in my swimming pool.

Jump jump jumping on swing Bridges!

On Sunday, Mummy, Daddy and I did the Karakariki walkway which meant we got to go over two great swing bridges, swim in a waterfall and tramp through some lovely NZ bush!

I loved jumping on the swing bridges (until I feel on my nose), picking flowers and tickling Daddy with my fern frond. Walking is so much fun.
