My hut

Mummy and Daddy are doing the toolbox parenting course at the moment. They had a list of fun things to do with me the other week including making a hut. This is what we created. I had tea parties in my hut with all my toys and cried when Mummy took it down.

Mummy and Daddy told me they're doing the course to learn how to make me stay in my bed and sleep. It seems to be working so far as I'm in bed by 8.30pm now. I'm still waking before 6am but they're ordered a sleep training clock for me so hopefully it will be here soon and I won't have to get up to ask if it's wake up time yet.

Lollipops - my sixth birthday celebration

On Sunday I went to Lollipops with my friends (Caleb, Keeley, Emily, Malaika, and Sylvie) from my nurturing newborns coffee group. We had so much fun playing in the balls, on the cars and the bouncy castle and dressing up. Nicole made us a fabulous cake with lots of lollies. Mmmm tasty!

Raglan on a sunny day!

On Saturday Daddy took Mummy and I to Raglan for a treat! We got to have brunch at a cafe, make sandcastles, go walking and eat icecreams. It was such a lovely day. I got to play with a little 9 week old puppy called Indie and see a glider in the sky.

Jumping Beans

I've moved up to the big girl class at jumping beans now for 2-3 year olds. I love bubble time at the end!

My gingerbread man

This is the gingerbread man that Nanny helped me make at my party but I was too full to eat it! Don't worry, it didn't go to waste I ate it a few days later and it was delicious!

Being 2!

Lately, I just crack Mummy and Daddy up with what comes out of my mouth. I think making up new words is hillarious - pecha and nota are two of my favourites.

The other day, when we were driving in the car I was telling Mummy and Daddy about the traffic lights: "Red means stop, Green means go and Orange means go fast". Mummy and Daddy said "who told you Orange means go fast?" They've decided to blame Nanny!

I have an amazing imagination. I'm always talking about Bubby Lulu's Mummies and Daddies (she's got 2 of each) and giving them names and telling everyone what they're up to. Bubby Lulu also has a house in town, a cat called Murlotta and lots of things in blue!

I love role playing with my toys. I think I might have started this before I turned one thanks to my cousin Mackenzie who loves imaginary games too!

My second playcentre birthday!

Today I got to celebrate my birthday again at playcentre! It was Luciarna's 3rd birthday today so we had a joint cake!

My party!

On Sunday I had my birthday party! I had so much fun! Mummy made me a butterfly cake and lots of pretty cupcakes. There was a bouncy castle which was a real hit! We got to decorate gingerbread men and play pass the parcel, musical cushions and statues.

My playcentre birthday

Today we celebrated my birthday at playcentre. Mummy made lots of blue cupcakes with sprinkles. I dressed up in the pretty rainbow dress and my friends sung me Happy Birthday and I got blow out the candles again!

My 2nd Birthday!

I'm 2! I had a fabulous birthday. I got a dolls house, some paint, baby bottles and books from Mummy and Daddy. We got to have pancakes for breakfast, see the baby on the scan and then we went swimming. In the afternoon Nanny, Aunty Sarah, Mackenzie and Alex came over for cake. Nanny bought me my very own car! For dinner, we had salmon casserole, my absolute favourite!

Breakfast with my friends

I love to eat with my dolls.

Threading genius!

I've got amazing fine motor skills and I love threading. Here's a picture of the super long necklace that I made the other night.

My first night in my big bed!

Last night I slept in my big bed all night. Usually Mummy and Daddy try to put me in my bed and I jump straight out. I have a big grin on my face when Daddy puts me in my bed and I say "shut the door, shut the door!" Then I jump out of bed and go running around the house crazily until Mummy and Daddy decide they've had enough and they put me to sleep in my cot!

Yesterday when Sylvie and Keeley came over I found out they slept in big beds so I wasn't going to slip behind.

Turning 2 with my friends

Sylvie and Keeley came to my house today for coffee group. As Keeley has already turned 2 and Sylvie and I turn 2 next week Mummy made us some cupcakes with candles. I blew out my candle all by myself. Yay! Let's hope I can do it again on my party day!

Keeley bought her new baby brother called Oscar. Mummy and I enjoyed having cuddles with him.

Acrobatics

Daddy and I are thinking about running away and joining the circus. We love acrobatics!
