Josh and George

George doesn't have many friends his age but when he's bigger we're hoping he'll play with Joshua who is 9 months older than him. Joshua came over the other day and certainly seemed keen to play with George. Here they are lying on George's play mat together.

George is 2.5 months old and oh so cute!

My little boy is growing up quickly! He loves to chat and he loves to smile! He has the most beautiful sparkly blue eyes! He continues to be the most laid back baby ever.

Zach's Student Conference

On Tuesday, Zach had a student conference which meant that he got to show me all his work at school. I particularly liked that he'd written a story about George and even spelt his name correctly. He'd also done some beautiful art work. I was impressed at how he could put money together to buy things from the pretend shop. Perhaps, he'll be a banker one day!

Being added to Nanny and Grandad's wall

George has finally made it up onto Nanny and Grandad's wall as the 13th Grandchild.

Baby George

George Francis McLauchlan-Hillary has arrived and he is the cutest little thing!

He weighed in at 9lbs (75th percentile), was 55cm in length (between 91st and 98th percentile) and had a 37cm head (91st percentile). Therefore, he's a rather large boy! He was born 4 days before his due date by c section on Friday 11th August after being in an oblique position and me having too much fluid on board.

We think he looks like Bella although he has darker hair like Zach and Lucia thinks her feet are the same colour as George's. There's definitely a family resemblance between them all. We think he's the bees knees!

Bella is 8!

Oh my Bella is 8! We celebrated at Splashy painting pottery with her friends on Sunday 6th of August. On her actual birthday she had her cousin Mackenzie come over after school for a playdate and then we went out to a Japanese restaurant for dinner with Nanny.

Bella got lots of lovely presents including a 24 inch bike for her birthday and a pink ukulele.

Bella and Lucia both helped me make the cake for her party and Bella iced the mini cake for her playdate with Mackenzie.

Bella's First Holy Communion

On Sunday Bella did her First Holy Communion. She wore the dress that Nanny and I wore when we did our First Holy Communion. She chose to have the confirmation name Francis (of Assisi) and Nanny was her sponsor. Her cousin Alex and her friend Kaylee were also doing their First Holy Communion. Zach's Disco

Zach went to his first school disco on Wednesday. It was an under sea theme so he went as a police diver. He was wowed by the whole event but really liked it especially the chocolate and glow sticks. When he got home he tried to set up Bella's disco lamp to keep the party going. Here are some pictures of him with his friends: Blake, Bohdi and Sakith.
