Nanny's back!

Bella was super excited today because Nanny came to play with her! She has been tripping around the South Island with Grandad in the caravan for a whole month!

Nanny spoilt her rotten taking her out to "Old McDonalds", the play area at Westfield and a pet store!

Nanny was impressed at how much Zach had grown. He showed Nanny some of his cute smiles.

Lunch with Kate

We finally got to catch up with Kate after far too long! We went to the lake for lunch but it was such a rainy day we didn't get to enjoy the play area!

Mackenzie's Pram

Bella is in heaven at the moment as she's borrowing Mackenzie's big pram. She spends the day taking her babies on outings. She can't even go to the toilet without taking the pram with her! She's obsessed!

Zach's Designer Wear!

Ellie May sent Zach some of her designer t-shirts. He looks very cute in his pale blue one!

Walking

Bella has dropped her day sleep which means she's usually in bed before 8pm these days! Hooray! Unfortunately, it means we don't get to go for our evening walks. Luckily we can go for afternoon walks in the weekend. Bella looks pretty choice in her cool shades! People often comment when we're out and about!

Bella's Dream Car

When we were out shopping the other day, Bella found this fabulous car! Uncle Geoff wants a Ferarri for his wedding present so Bella thought she should do some test driving!

Coffee Group Catch Up!

We hadn't seen our coffee group since Zach was born. It was so nice to get all the kids together after the Christmas Break. It seems crazy we've been meeting up for over 2 and half years now.

Farm Time at Keeley's house

On Friday we went to Keeley's house for a playdate. The girls had a great time feeding the chickens, playing on the slide and swings, making bunny baskets and even getting to eat ice creams! In the afternoon Bella said to me "Mummy I love Keeley and Vinnie".

Bathtime

Zach loves bathtime. He doesn't get the same long baths that Bella used to get. The trials and tribulations of being the second child!

Tummy Time

Zach is just starting to get into tummy time. He used to throw up everytime we put him on his tummy.

Bella's Fro

Bella's hair just continues to get curlier and curlier. She looks like she's got quite a fro in this picture. We're not sure whether Zach is going to have curls yet. He seems to have a definite wave in his hair when it's wet.

Zach's appreciation of toys!

Zach is loving toys at the moment. He loves grabbing them, hitting them to make music and putting them in his mouth. He's also started giving them cuddles which is really cute.

Chubba Bubba

Zach looks like he's getting very pudgy to me! He even has 3 rolls on his legs. Bella never have rolls!

Despite his apparent chubbiness he's actually down to the 25 percentile for weight probably due to his reflux but luckily he's above average for height.

Vinnie's 3rd Birthday

Vinnie had the most amazing 3rd Birthday Party in an enchanted forest. It was a fairy party but Vinnie decided she didn't wanted to dress up. Only Bella and Jack came dressed as fairies and Mackenzie came dressed as a beautiful princess.

Bella loved playing in the bubbles, going on the ladybird hunt, playing hide and seek and winning the egg and spoon race! Mummy was so proud of her!

Bella keeps asking when Vinnie is going to have another party!

Bella can write "B"

It's a little hard to see but Bella can write the letter "B". She's been practising with her bath crayons. It's one of the harder letters to do so we were quite impressed. She can already do the letter "l" so it won't be long before she can write her name. I obviously wrote "Bella" but she did the "B" underneath. What a clever girl!

She's always surprising us! When the Grown up in New Zealand people rung me, I told them she can speak better than me! She can even say "Supercalfragilistic exmealladocus". The other day I said to her Bella are you thirsty "She said "no Mummy I'm not dehydrated". She just learnt to crack eggs too, which makes baking very exciting!

Dinner at Lilah's House

While Andy, Jenni and Ava were up we had thai takeaways with Michelle, Dave and Lilah! Mrs MaCaskill had been busy knitting all the kids really cool hats. The girls had lots of fun playing together!

Zach the All Black!

Here is Zach dressed up as an All Black. Grandad would be very proud! It's a pity his Mummy won't be letting him play rugby. No one is going to hurt my little boy. He can play soccer instead.

Andy, Jenni and Ava come to visit!

Andy, Jenni and Ava are up for the week from Wellington! Bella is still taller than Ava but Ava is now only a little bit heavier!

We celebrated Ava's 2nd Birthday on Sunday at the lake. On Monday, Ava came around to play. On Tuesday we went to the beach. On Wednesday the boys went out for beers and tonight we're having dinner together. Boy it's busy when the Morris's are in town!

It was Zach's first time at a beach. He didn't think too much of the glare! We're sure he'll love Raglan when he's a bit bigger and can splash in the water!

Bella's Stories

Bella turned into a Daddy's girl yesterday. Apparently she still loved me but she loved Daddy best as Daddy does fun stuff with her. I was devastated. I said "Mummy is too busy working" and she said "where do you work?". Matt thought it was a hillarious and said "don't worry her phases don't last long, the first one of loving Mummy best was only 2 years". Thank goodness she's back to being a Mummy's girl today.

She normally says to Matt "can you go to work so I can play with Mummy?" The other day Matt walked into the room carrying his work computer and Bella said "How are you? Matt said "great thanks Bella" and she said "I wasn't talking to you I was talking to work computer". Shot down!

Bella saw 2 small diggers today. She decided that given they were baby diggers (i.e. small) and matching that they must be twins therefore they must be called Connor and Jacob just like Michelle's twins.

Bella was putting on her shoes and said "this is the tongue of the shoe...what does it lick?".

Bella is a good Mummy

Bella is very maternal. She loves playing Mummies with her dolls. Here she is getting Kashaleen ready to go out biking in the trailer with Daddy. She even uses her kindy bag as her nappy bag and puts in all the essentials. I keep losing all my nappies, cloths and bibs to her toys.

Miffy's Birthday

Miffy came to visit us for morning tea today. As it was her birthday yesterday we made her a yummy banana cake. Zach thought she was a comfy bed.

Matt's got this parenting thing down!

This photo just cracks me up! Evenings in our house can be a bit of trial at the moment as Bella is deciding to drop her afternoon sleep so she's completely overtired. Zach is a typical baby and up all evening! Matt looks like he's got it under control though.
