Aunty Sarah let me borrow some of Mackenzie's and Alex's toys. They're away in the South Island at the moment so I've got Alex's favourite toy. I've been learning about the relationship between cause and effect - well so Mummy tells me. When I hit the toys, I get music! Hooray! It's so much fun. I'm actually supposed to use it to distract me to do tummy time but I think it's just fun lying on my back!

Bathing at Granny and Grandad's house
On Saturday night, Mummy and Daddy took me to visit Granny and Grandad. We got there pretty late as I kept sleeping and sleeping. Mummy and Daddy woke me up after 3 and a quarter hours and I still slept in the car out there. Because we were so late, I had to get ready for bed out there. Here's a picture of me bathing in the handbasin. I'm not really small, it's just a very big basin!
My dutch shoes
Here's a picture of my dutch shoes that Mummy's friend Sonya made me. She's coming to visit me soon which I'm very excited about. I'm hoping she's going to take lots of picture of me as Mummy tells me she's a very talented photographer. Mummy's friend Kate gave me my measles outfit which I just love!
Eco Nappies!

Courses
Mummy has been taking me to lots of courses lately. I've been to a cloth nappy seminar, an infant movement course and a CPR course. Here's a funny picture of me and Granny with the baby Mummy tried resusitating! The baby wasn't very talkative after Mummy's attempts to revive it so I'm not sure she did a very good job! Daddy thinks I look like Uncle Ali in this picture!

My friend Shell!
My Mummy has a friend called Shell and she's lovely! Mummy, Shell and Baxter the dog take me for walks and Shell comes and gives me cuddles in her lunch hour. Shell bought me a really cool ball and rattle so I think she's the bees knees!

I can suck my thumb
Jolly Jumping!!!
I have been borrowing my friend Sylvie's jolly jumper and it's so much fun. Uncle Ali is hopefully going to get me my own one for Christmas.
Mummy hangs it on the laundry door so I can play while she scrubs nappies. I've been helpfully testing all the different types of cloth nappies for her. They're so comfy!

Tummy time
I love my hands
My hands are the best toy ever! You can wave then, grab things with them and best off all suck them until they nearly fall off! I can sometimes suck my thumb but most of the time I like to put my whole hand and sometimes both hands in my mouth.
3 months already!
I can't believe it, I'm 3 months old already. Soon I'll be at school and Mummy will have to get a job!!! Mummy and Daddy got me a merino sleeping bag for my 3 month birthday. This means I can keep my hands out when I'm sleeping, which I'm very happy about.
Mummy and Granny took me to get my 3 month injections today. I was sleeping soundly and then suddenly the nurse stabbed my leg with something very sharp and I screamed. She then turned me over and did it again. Did she not understand I wasn't impressed the first time?!? I screamed it her again and she seemed to listen this time or perhaps it was because I ran out of legs!
Granny came and stayed the night for my 3 month birthday as Daddy was in Hawera. She got to see how much splashing I can do in the bath!

Jenni and Andy come to visit!
In the weekend, Andy and Jenni came to visit. Unfortunately we only got to see them once but they seemed quite nice. They're going to have a baby soon which I'll be able to play with. Here's a picture of Izzy and I with Uncle Alex and crazy Andy in the background. There's also a picture of Mummy and me with Izzy and Aunty Janey.
Izzy's 1st Birthday!
On Halloween it was Izzy's 1st Birthday. Mummy, Aunty Janey and I made pumpkin cakes for her party. We went to the lake for a picnic and I got to wear my pretty pink party dress with lots of frills!!! Daddy thought I looked like lamb dressed up as mutton but I thought it was fun playing big girls for a day! We got Izzy a Dora pushchair which she seemed to really love as she can walk now! She's such a clever wee girl!
