Playground Fun

It's so light in the evenings that we've been enjoying going for some walks after dinner. Here are the kids having fun at the local playground.

Playgroup Party

Yesterday we celebrated Zach's birthday with some of his playgroup friends. Michelle hosted a party for the boys who were turning 2 in December at Playgroup. Unfortunately, Ollie wasn't there but Zach, Lucas, Jack and Dante had fun celebrating their birthdays together. They each had a turn at blowing out the candles.

 

Mr Tipkens

Mr Tipkens continues to live on our deck. Bella just loves him to pieces. She's always carrying him around. He gets lots of love and attention.

My cute Zachy!

Zach is so cute at the moment. It's really easy to get lots of smiling pictures of him. He always make us laugh. He's convinced at the moment that "Honey Puffs" are called "Ear Muffs.

Letters to Santa

Bella and Zach have written and posted their letters to Santa. Bella wants an orange two wheel scooter and Zach wants a rubbish truck.

Zachy the Gardener

Zach just loves being outside! Here he is helping Daddy mow the lawn.

Selecting our Christmas Tree

After killing two live Christmas trees, Matt decided he wanted us to go and select our own Christmas tree to cut down this year. The selection process was quite fun with the kids running all around and playing hide and seek in the Christmas trees. We managed to select a cute one that fitted in the boot of our new car. It looks very pretty all decorated and it smells great. We had quite a job trying to get it to stay upright in it's bucket but with the help of some bricks and jars filled with sand, it hasn't fallen over yet. Touch wood!

Today, Mr Tipkens decided that he quite liked the Christmas tree and snuck inside and hid under the Christmas tree pretending he was a present.

Zach's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Zach's 2nd Birthday yesterday! We couldn't celebrate in November because of kindy trips and Bella's ballet show so he had to wait until the 6th of December for his early birthday this year!

He had a digger party because he loves diggers! Nanny and Grandad bought him a ride on digger which he thought was absolutely awesome. I made him a digger cake and he had 10 friends over to celebrate his birthday. We played pass the parcel and pin the arm on the digger. We decorated gingerbread bread digger drivers, played on the bouncy castle and coloured in pictures of diggers. The kids took home balloons on sticks and construction stickers. Everyone seemed to have a good time especially Zach who keeps saying "I'm the birthday boy!". I think his birthday is going to go on all month.
