After our walk, we went to Nanny and Grandad's to see Ali and Lee. Bella and Zach thought Nanny little Christmas tree was very pretty. Bella even turned into a tree hugger!

Maungatautari
We went for bush walk in the southern enclosure at Maungatautari. Bella loved climbing up the top of the tower. We tried eating our lunch in the bush but the kaka were a bit too friendly for our liking. Poor Bella grazed her elbow running through the forest but was very brave.

Zach's Birthday Party
To celebrate Zach turning 1 we had a Teddy Bears' Picnic complete with a Teddy Bear Cake!
Zach absolutely loves Teddy Bears and was very excited to see all the new bears coming to our house. I have to say he was a little disappointed that everyone took them home again. He really would have liked everyone to bring him a bear for his birthday! Lilah accidentally forgot hers so we got to keep it here for a couple of weeks which was a nice treat!
Zach had great fun playing with his friends in his new pirate ship, digging for pegs in the sandpit, playing with ice and hammers, and enjoying all the helium balloons! The bigger kids got to decorate teddy cookies, make playdough teddies and go on a teddy bear hunt!

Zach's New Birthday
We've decided we're going to celebrate Zach's Birthday a month early every year! This means he got spoilt rotten at 11 months rather than 12 months.
We got him a water tray table in the shape of a pirate ship and Bella got him some little cars.

Auckland
We finally made to Auckland to see Ali and Lee's fancy new house and catch up with our lovely friends!
On Friday we visited ther Zoo with with Sonya and Max. Bella loved feeding the Giraffes. We also managed to catch the hippopotamus and sealion feeding due to our impeccable timing! It was such lovely weather!
On Saturday we visited Ali and Lee and they took us to the Fairy Shop on Ponsonby Road. Bella got a new toilet bag which she's very proud of!
