Alex came over to play this morning. We kicked around a ball, I showed him my farm animals and we had a picnic at my little green table. Alex thought my pussy cat was really nice. He was a little upset that Zanzi remained just out of reach!

Summer Time
Tapioca
Go Go Go
I'm obsessed by the car and bike at the moment. I'll do anything to get out of the house! I'm constantly do my signs for bike and car and saying "Go Go Go!"
In the car I go for a little sleep and then when I wake up we're somewhere fun. I can even reach the door handle on the car. If only I could work out how to drive I'd be off!
Visiting Granny and Grandad
Granny and Grandad took me to feed the ducks. The ducks didn't seem that keen on eating our bread so we tried to feed the cows as well.
After lunch, Daddy biked home and Mummy and I went in the car. It always makes me giggle when I see Daddy dressed up in his lycra!
Raglan!
On Sunday we went to the beach so Daddy could go surfing. Mummy and I played in the sand and paddled in the water. It was freezing cold!
I got to try my first ice cream (which was actually frozen youghurt). I wasn't that keen on it so Mummy and Daddy got to eat it all up.
We went to the playground and Daddy taught me how to climb a tree.

Wellington Holiday - Visiting
While in Wellington, I got to meet lots of people. Everyday we saw someone new. Kerryn and Amos came over for afternoon tea on Friday. We had morning tea with Jen South on Saturday. We saw the Lockereys on Sunday and Aunty Ruth, Uncle Jamie and Imogen on Monday. We also got to hang out with Andy, Nenny and Ava lots too! Here's some picture of me with my new friends.

Zanzi and me!
I missed my pussycat when we were in Wellington. I can say his name now. I kept doing my pussycat sign when we were in Wellington but nobody we visited seemed to have a pussycat. They don't know what they're missing out on. When we got home from our holiday I was very excited to see Zanzi. I kept going up to him and giving him big hugs. I think he was glad to see us too!
Playing Bubbies
Lately, I like to pretend my toys are bubbies. I get Mummy to put nappies on them. I put them to bed. I do dancing and look at books with them. I put them on my highchair or sit them at my table and pretend to give them food. Basically anything Mummy does with me I do with them.
They seem to go to bed easier than me and they never complain about what's on the menu. They don't talk much though.
Here's a picture of Yetti in his nappy with both us in his bed!

Wellington Holiday - Fun Activities
While in Wellington, I got to sleep in a bright red portacot with Yetti. It was very comfy and once I finally got to sleep (after a drive in the car) I stayed asleep.
I was worn out from all the visiting and fun activities. Mummy and Daddy took me to the swimming pool, Ava and I went for a walk in our matching buggies and we also did a short bush walk.

Wellington Holiday - My new friend Ava
In Wellington we stayed with Andy and Jenni (or Nenny as I preferred to call her). They had a very cute 7 month old bubby called Ava who despite being half my age was bigger than me!!! She even passed down some clothes and nappies she'd grown out of.
I loved playing with Ava. She had lots of fun toys. In the morning, I would say "Ava Ava Ava" and clap my hands but Ava was usually still asleep when I got up in the morning. I've been asking for Ava since we got home too. Hopefully she'll come and visit me next month so we can play some more.
Wellington Holiday - Planes and Airports
On Friday the 15th of October, we flew to Wellington. It was my first time on a plane. I thought airports and planes were so much fun! While I realise it's not very environmentally friendly I wish Mummy and Daddy would take me flying more often.
Airports have so much space to run around. I loved helping Daddy push the trolley and going up and down the escalator.

Mummy's Birthday
I bought my Mummy a watering can for her birthday and a really fantastic card saying "No. 1 Mum - that's you my fantastic amazing Mum". She was really impressed. Granny came over and we baked Mummy a carrot cake. Then Grandad, Aunty Sarah, Alex and Mackenzie all turned up to eat it with us. It was very tasty!
