Missy Bear

Missy Bear is my favourite teddy at the moment. She's bigger than me but I still like to pick her up and carry her. Here's a picture of me and Missy playing in a box together!

Cousin Vinnie

On Monday, I had a playdate with Cousin Vinnie. Our Mummies walked us all around the lake in the sun and then we got to feed the ducks and play at the playground. Vinnie and I are going to go swimming for our next playdate. I can't wait!

Another birthday party!

Last week I celebrated my birthday again with my friends from my antenatal class. It was really hard to get us all to sit still for a picture.

After the party, Granny and Grandad came for coffee. They wanted to have their picture taken with me in my pretty party dress. Grandad was most impressed with my talking. I sound like I'm so grown up these days. I answer "maybe" and "probably" to questions and I often like to say "pardon me". I love to copy whatever Mummy is saying.

Bella the Ballerina

Mackenzie lent me her pretty pink skirt and fairy wings. Here's a picture of me dancing around. I love to swing side to side to the wiggly woo!

Baby Charlotte

Today baby Charlotte and her Mummy Naomi came for morning tea. I really liked baby Charlotte and even went and got her one of my toys to play with. I held her hand and gave her big smiles. I wasn't even jealous when Mummy was holding her. I wish I could have a baby to play with all the time but I think Mummy has other plans!!!

Spinning in my tray!

Mummy lets me destroy the plastics cupboard! We have a cool stripey tray in there that my friend Oscie gave us. I like to climb inside it and get Mummy to spin me round in circles.

My pretty pink hairclip

Mummy has decided that my hair is long enough to wear a pretty clip in it. I look so grown up when I'm wearing clips and headbands in my hair.

Another dummy

So my obsession with finding new dummies continues. I've now discovered that the bath plug is a great dummy. Lucky it doesn't get used normally!

My new outdoor suit

Mummy has bought me lots of new clothes from the UK including my new pink outdoor suit which means I can play outside and not get wet! I can't wait to help Daddy in the garden at the weekends.

The big bath

So Daddy has finally got sick of my bathtime antics in the kitchen and has started bathing me in the big bath. He still puts my little bath in the big bath so we don't use too much water. However, I can reach the tap and I think it's lots of fun to flood my bath!

Balloons

Yesterday Mummy filled my portacot with balloons and dropped me into play. I had so much fun rolling around the balloons and hiding underneath them. One popped but I wasn't scared!

Trolley Trolley Trolley

I spend my life attached to my trolley. While I can walk now, the trolley allows me to go really really fast. I can zoom around the house and explore every room.

I walked right across the lounge 2 days after my first birthday. I even managed to stop and clap for the dog on the TV and then keep going. I like to walk when nobody is watching so I can perfect my technique.

My present from Mac and Alex

Alex and Mackenzie came to visit on Thursday and they brought me a birthday present. They got me some really neat farm magnets and a farm book. I love looking at all the animals. We finished off my cake and then we went to the park. Mackenzie and I rode in the girls pram.

Celebrating my birthday with friends

Today we had the nurturing newborns 1st birthday party. Unfortunately Caleb, Keeley and Sylvie were all sick but Emily, Malaika and I had a great time celebrating! Here's some photos of us. We've grown up so much!

Dressing up

I like playing dress up. Mummy has given me two sets of pretty beads that I like to put on. Can you see my cheeky little tongue?

Bathtime

I like to drive Daddy crazy at bathtime. I splash water everywhere and throw all my toys out of the bath. Here's a picture of me just after throwing one of my toys out of the bath. He he!

Where's Mummy's comb?

So today after helping Mummy comb her hair, Mummy sat me down on the floor to comb my hair while she put on her lotions and potions. However, when she turned around I'd thrown her comb down the toilet and was doing my "where" sign?

Baby Lilah

I got to meet Baby Lilah for the first time at my 1st Birthday. She's was 12 days old. I thought she was pretty neat. I even offered to share my Yetti with her!

Trolley Fun

My Trolley is so much fun. I tear around the house at speed. I'm very good at steering and stopping though. The other day I nearly drove my trolley down the steps and Mummy nearly had a heart attack. I've discovered it's quite fun to push Zanzi around in my trolley or convince Mummy and Daddy to push me around in my trolley. Sometimes I sit down and other times I like to pretend to be a chariot rider.

Child labour

So I've decided that cleaning is pretty fun. The other day Mummy was busy cleaning the house so I thought I'd help out. I went to the bottom drawer pulled out a cloth and starting imitating Mummy buffing the dishwasher. Later on when I was upstairs I got one of my face cloths off the line and started dusting the entertainment unit. Then before bed I decided my CD player needed a clean too!

Walking progress

So after taking my 11 steps, I haven't done much walking. However, today I decided I could walk in the pool. It was the first time Daddy had seen me do my new trick and he was very impressed.

I'm 1 today!

Today I turned 1! My birthday seems to be going on forever! I had a fabulous day. Mummy and Daddy got me a musical tea set which I thought was pretty cool. After my morning sleep they took me swimming. Granny came to watch and then we all went to lunch at Pumice! Mmmm! Granny let me have chocolate which I absolutely love. When we got home we got to blow out the candles again and eat more cake!!! I got to eat my first lolly, a marshmellow covered in hundreds and thousands. Tasty! We then went to the playground on the bikes while dinner was cooking. Mummy cooked me one of my favourite dinners, salmon and rice with peas and corn.

My party

On Sunday we celebrated my 1st Birthday! I got lots of lovely presents and Mummy made a fantastic cake! Here a few pics of me in my pretty party dress!

Outside Play

I love being outside but because it's winter Mummy doesn't let me out all the time. I think she'll let me out more soon though as she's ordered an outdoor suit from the UK so I don't trash all my clothes. I can't wait to help Daddy in the garden.

My bed

I used to love my bed but lately I've been diabolical about going to sleep. In my defence I have been sick. Lucky I'm on the mend or Mummy and Daddy might give me away especially in the early hours of the morning.

Pet Expo

On Saturday, Mummy and I went to the pet expo with Shell. Mummy had to wake me up to but it was well worth it. I got pat and see all sorts of animals including dogs, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, alpacas and even a real live yetti (helian coo). I got to feed a baby goat too. Hopefully they'll have it again next year.
