The Hakarimata Summit Track!

On Sunday we went for a bush walk in the Hakarimatas. Matt chose the toughest walk he could possibly find! There were 1349 steep steps up to the Summit! We were rewarded with a lovely view across the Waikato at the end. However, 2 days later Matt and I still have very sore legs!!! Bella did the whole walk and doesn't seem to be suffering! I was obviously carrying the baby in my tummy and Matt was carrying Zach on his back for a lot of the way. That's our excuse or maybe we should just admit we're getting old!

Jacob and Connor turn 2!

The twins turned 2 on Sunday. We helped them celebrate on Monday. Bella made them each cards. Connor's was blue and had a picture of him and Jacob playing in the sandpit and Jacob's was red and had a picture of him and Connor playing in the water and sand table. The cards colour co-ordinated with their tops.

They seemed to love the drill and hammer set we got them and their slimy dinousaurs. We're sure they'll love the book too. Bella and Zach loved the bouncy castle and thought the party food was delicious!

Duplo Creations

Bella and Zach spend hours building with Duplo. This is Bella's interpretation of Tower Bridge in London.

Ballet is back!

Bella is very excited as ballet is now back on! She loved her first class of the year with her friend Madi!

Dr Zach

Zach loves pretending to be a doctor or vet. Here he is checking over Tippy. Tippy was very tolerant as she got poked and prodded with different tools from the doctors kit.

My Cute Little Munchkin!

Scooter Time

Bella got a new fancy MGP scooter from Santa so she gave her old one to Zach. Bella is awesome on her new two wheel scooter but she has to compete with Daddy who thinks it's lots of fun too!

Water Fun!

It's been a hot Summer! I have been dreaming of a pool! Sarah now has a pool and doesn't live far from us but we don't make it to her house nearly enough! We tried having a big inflatable pool on our deck but our cat kept climbing on it and putting holes in it. The kids have had fun with the sprinkler and water balloons on the trampoline. The cat has now resorted to climbing into our small paddling pool!

Bella and Hope's Playdate

Bella went to Hope's house this morning for a playdate! They are so cute together.

Ange and Bran

Ange is over from the UK. Yippee! She bought her new baby Brannan to visit. He's such a cute little boy!

Miniature Trains

Here we are again enjoying the miniature trains. This time we saw Michelle and Lilah which was very exciting!

Comparing Bumps!

Ali, Lee and I compared our bumps and by the looks of it Ali is sill winning. I'd say I'm coming a close second and Lee is looking great in 3rd place!
