Relaxing by the River

Often on a Sunday afternoon we go down to the River and relax. Daddy goes swimming while Mummy and I relax with a cold bottle of water!

Helping out!

Mummy and Daddy are putting me in training to help around the house. I help Mummy fold the washing and I help Daddy water his garden. I'm also very good at using the cereal boxes as building blocks!

West Coast Bush Walks

In the weekend, Mummy and Daddy took me for some bush walks. I got to see my first waterfall and we even got to do a little bit of the Hillary Trail! Mummy and Daddy have tried to show me waterfalls before but I'm always asleep!

Swimming in the rain!

The other day we went to Sarah's house for coffee group. She has a big pool. Mummy promised me we could go swimming so even though it was raining we went in the pool. I'm happy to go in the water anytime.

I have a toothbrush

I now have 2 bottom teeth. I brush these twice a day with my pretty pink toothbrush!

Moving moving moving

I love moving! I can commando crawl from my play area to the dining room table now. I'm also very good at moving backwards, rolling in all directions and going round in circles. Granny says I have go go gadget arms! I can now hold myself in the proper crawling position but when I try to move I fall back on my tummy. I'm just going to stick with rocking for now! I don't like to sit under any circumstance. I love to be bouncing on my feet. Mummy found out that if she let me hold onto a chair I could stand fine by myself! However, I'm not really supposed to do that as I don't want to be bow legged!

West Coast Beaches

In the weekend Mummy and Daddy took me to explore some West Coast beaches. We got to go to Bethel's, Piha and Kare Kare. I thought the beach was lots of fun. I ate a bit of sand and played in the water.

My first wedding!

In the weekend, I got to go to my first wedding. It was fantastic! Ange looked so beautiful in her dress! I especially liked the flower girls who were super cute. I did some dancing with them. I got to meet Jade, Richard and Pip too! I was very well behaved and had a couple of catnaps in my pram so Mummy and Daddy could stay out late.

Ange and Joe come to visit

Ange and Joe are over from Edinburgh. They're getting married on the 20th of February. It will be my first wedding. Ange is a little worried that I'll upstage her in my pretty pink dress but I'm sure everyone will be looking at the stunning bride.

Chilling with Daddy

I love playing with my Daddy! The other day he got in my paddling pool with me. Mummy sometimes goes in when it's really hot. I love pulling Daddy's nose but the pictures of that aren't so pretty!

Roman is a great soccer ball!

The other day I went to antenatal to see my friends. I screamed when Benedict farted but I had a soft spot for Roman! I started out by holding his hand but this soon progressed to me showing him who was boss! It seems size doesn't matter! He's twice as big as me but I showed him! Lucy thought I was hillarious. I liked trying out Archie's pod. Archie's a real looker but Sylvie has taken a shine to him. I'll have to wear a pretty dress next time so I can get some attention.

6 months today!

Can you believe it, I'm 6 months already?!? If you look really closely in this photo you can see my lone tooth!

Baby Houdini

I've turned into a baby Houdini. Mummy puts me to bed in one place and I end up in a totally different position. The other day I wriggled to the top of the cot with bunny knocked on the end and then decided I might be able to pull down the camera. Mummy and Daddy are going to buy a safe T sleep to try and restrain me!

I've become super hyperactive and therefore getting my nappies on has turned in to a 4 man job especially when I'm excited about bath and swimming time. I continuously roll over.

Well they've bought the safe T sleep but it's nothing I can't beat! I won't be trapped!!! They wrap me up so tight that I can hardly breathe but I'm a determined little missy so I try to roll and roll until I finally succeed. They tried putting a sleeping bag and a safety wedge in too but I saw this as even more of a challenge and proved to them that there is no obstacle I can't overcome!!! I certainly think I'm clever when I finally achieve my goal of rolling rolling rolling

Gidaffi the Giraffey

I love my giraffe. If ever there is a problem Gidaffi can fix it! It's just like bob the builder but better.

My pretty blue eyes!

Here's a picture of me showing off my pretty blue eyes. Daddy loves this picture and has put it on his phone. Everyone says I look like Daddy but I've definitely got Mummy's eyes!

New toys

Mummy got me out her my child dolly to play with. Her name is Belinda. We've become friends. I like dollies. I also like mirrors, spoons, and pegs.
