Zach's Bath at Kindy

Today Zach had a bath at kindy in front of all of Bella's kindy friends. He loves the bath and was very happy to lie there and enjoy all the attention. He loved the foot massages and even put up with having water tipped in his eyes lots.

Bella the runner!

Bella loves to run! She has pretend running races! I think she also loves to win! She seems to have a pretty good style. We may have a future Olympian!

Mummy and Daddy's Duplo Houses

I'm not sure if I should be worried but Bella has been making Daddy and I separate houses and cars out of Duplo. At the moment we're neighbours so we're at least living on the same street - London Street according to Bella. Note, I get the big flashy house with proper windows and the sporty looking car. Daddy gets a box to live in with an old station wagon!

The Lobster!

Zach has a new high chair - the Phil and Teds Lobster! As you can see, it goes everywhere from the bench to the table to out to dinner! He seems to think it's pretty comfy!

Bella can write her name

Bella was decorating Lilah's card when she said "I think I might write my name so she knows who it's from". I said "would you like me to write it down for you so you can copy it?" and she said "no, I can remember how to do it". I was quite impressed with her effort!

Lilah's Birthday!

On Saturday we went to Lilah's 2nd Birthday! She had a balloon themed birthday with a hot air balloon cake (or boat as she thought) and some helium filled balloons! Zach absolutely loved the balloons.

Bella had fun playing with Lilah in her new play tent. We got her a pram which she seemed to love. Bella left her some art in the bath with the crayons we bought her!

7 months!

Can you believe it my baby is 7 months old! To celebrate he had his very first cracker - dairy free of course! The day before his birthday he pulled himself up to standing on his stereo, duplo box and on Matt! I think we might have an early walker on our hands!

2 days after his birthday he was crawling properly everywhere. He's also been practising his signing and saying words. He says something that resembles "Mama" but only when he's not getting what he wants and he says "Belle Belle" and "Bella". We occassionally hear something that resembles "up" too. "Boob boob boobie" is still a favourite!

"He's pretty cool this baby of ours"

I commented on how Zach seemed to have decided he can select his own toys from the toy box. Bella responded with "He's pretty cool this baby of ours". I'm quite impressed how she's dealing with him taking her toys and trashing her duplo creations!

Like Bella, Zach likes to create his own dummies and the heads of toy people seem to be just the right size! Zach loves carrying around the dolls house baby and the little girl in his mouth and the duplo people. Bella used to always carry around the policeman and racing car driver!

Nanny comes for dinner!

Bella was extra excited because Nanny came for dinner on Wednesday. Daddy was away for work so Nanny kindly offered to help out. Zach got to show Nanny how much he loves the bath!

Bella the hairdresser

Bella loves doing my hair but she can't understand why I don't leave the house wearing the millions of clips she puts in my hair. I told her today that I had to take them out before we went to Kindy as all the other Mum's would be jealous!

Zach's Christening

Zach was christened on Saturday. Sarah and Ali are his godparents! Ali promises to teach him all about the holy spirits! Zach thought church was very exciting. He was hyperactive throughout the service. He didn't want to stay still and kept giving Ali high 5's! He looked very dapper in his gown!
When the preist went to turn the microphone on, Bella said "Where's God gone?"

After the service we enjoyed lunch out at Churchills and then went back to Nanny and Grandad's for cake and coffee. Thank you Sarah, you did a great job of Zach's cake!
