Hamilton is Hot Hot Hot!

Boy has it been hot lately! On Sunday we had a record high for November. Lucky I have my pool to swim in. Mummy even got in with me the other day.

Feeding all my toys

Mackenzie has lent me her dolls' highchair and cot. I am a busy little lady having to feed all my toys and put them to bed. I also like to bath them in the blue plastic bowl and get them to use the potty (which is really a stepstool) and after Heath visiting I like to change their pooey nappies too! It's tough work being the Mummy to about 20 dolls and soft toys.

Fast boats

On Saturday we went to see the speed boats on the river. We can hear then from our house as they go over 160km/hr so they are pretty noisy! I kept saying "boat fast" as they whizzed past with their skiers behind them.

We also got to see a dog go swimming and I got to insult a lady by calling her a man! Whoops!

My toy car

One morning Mummy and I decided to make a car as I have a bit of car obsession. I loved getting in and out of it and taking my toys on adventures.

Mummy and I need to make some improvements to my car as the steering wheel is a bit dodgy, the door is too small and I can pull off the wheels! Watch this space for our creative engineering!

Bubby Lilah

Bubby Lilah has got big! She even eats solids now.

Master Heath Williams

I finallly got to meet the famous Heath after an afternoon of "Hmmm Heath" and doing my where sign.

It was definitely worth the wait though as he's a very happy baby. We played in my paddling pool and he splashed me lots.

He's bigger than me despite being 6 months younger but that's hardly surprising given the amount he eats! I keep telling stories about bubby Heath always pooing, going to sleep and leaving in the car.

Parp Parp

I absolutely love toy cars but lately I've taken that a step further and I want to drive the real car. You wouldn't believe how noisy the real horn is! I convince Mummy to let me get in the car and then I parp away distubring all the neighbours! Yetti likes to parp the horn also! Here's a picture of me riding on the toy car Aunty Sarah lent me!

Sleeping during my morning tea!

This morning Mummy took me back to Jumping Beans. I haven't been for a few weeks and boy have I missed it. It was so much fun playing on all the equipment and dancing. I was so tired afterwards that I fell asleep with crackers in my mouth on the way home.

Our First Strawberries

We've been growing strawberries in our garden. Last week we got to eat the first lot of fruit. Mmmm, tasty! I love summer and all it's treats.

Missy Bear

I call Missy Bear "Mini" which is very ironic given she's huge!

When we go out in the car now I've decided we should take Yetti, Bubby Lulu and Missy! Mummy seems to be trying discourage Missy leaving the house as she takes up so much room and is of course white so prone to getting dirty!

The Donkey Farm

On Friday I went to the Donkey Farm with Mummy, Aunty Sarah, Alex and Mackenzie. We had so much fun playing on the toy tractors and diggers and in the sandpit and stones, going on the swing and best all riding on the donkeys and feeding and cuddling all the animals. Mackenzie was very good at looking after me. She's a great big sister!

The biggest Christmas tree ever

On Sunday, we found the biggest Christmas tree ever at the base. It was so big that Mummy couldn't get a picture of all it with me in it!

Shadows

Recently I've discovered shadows and I think they're pretty cool. I move around to see what the shadow will do and guess what, it copies me!

I can use my potty!

On Saturday I made Mummy proud and did a big number 2 in my potty! I love pretending to get my toys to use their potty. Here's a picture of bubby and I doing our business. He he!

Lawn mower obssession

I have a lawn mower obsession at the moment. Nana and Grandad are going to buy me one for Christmas. Yay!

As I don't have enough signs or words for everything I see, I group things into categories. The other day I suggested to Mummy that the wheelchair at the Doctors was a bike. It had two wheels with spokes so she could see where I was coming from. I also asked her if the vacuum cleaner was a lawn mower. It makes sense as they're both noisy and run across the ground.

I'm a Supermodel!

After a 3 month delay, Mummy and Daddy finally got some professional pictures of me taken! They were worth the wait! I look very cute!

Swimming lessons start again!

I started swimming lesson again today. Despite my 7 month absence Mummy still thinks I'm the best in the class. The teacher said my rolling was the best she'd ever seen!

My first day at Kindy

Today I started at Kindy Bubz! I get to go every Monday afternoon to play.

I thought all the toys were pretty cool and I loved having a back pack! I got to play with playdough, paint pictures, dance and play outside in the sun. The teachers thought I was very cute and a pretty relaxed kid who loved being outdoors.

Welcome Baby Boxell

On Friday, Mummy and I had coffee group at our house to welcome little Conway Boxell (Roman's little brother). Baby Boxell slept the whole time but I got to rock him in his capsule. The best bit was that my friend Sylvie came to play at my house.

15 month injections

I've had my injections and boy did they hurt. Mummy told me we were going to the doctors so when we got there I was happily going "doctor, doctor, doctor" and next minute a nurse stabbed me in the leg with a big needle. She then stabbed me again in my other leg and then to top it all off she stabbed my arm as well. I screamed and then whimpered until we finally left that horrible place. Mummy tells me there's no more injections until I'm 4 now thank goodness.

Visiting Granny

On Thursday I went to visit Granny at her house and she had a new toy car! I spent all day playing in it. Granny also has a soft toy cat called "Jester" who I thought was very nice. Granny gave me a xylophone my 15 month birthday present. I'm so spoilt!

Lake Kainui

Yesterday Daddy, Mummy and I biked around Lake Kainui in Horsham Downs. We got to see some ducks, pick some flowers and play in the tall grass. I even got to see my first NZ Christmas tree (a pohutukawa) or at least something that looked very similar.

Talking

I can say so much now. Granny suggested that Mummy make a list of all the words I could say at 15 months but Mummy decided it would take her forever as I can pretty much say everything I hear now. Sometimes I only say the start of a word but by signing as well Mummy can generally work out what I want or what story I'm telling.

I'm still not fond of using my G's or J's. I do occasionally use them but it's much easier to turn them into "N's". I'm also very good at putting two words together now. I'll be speaking in full sentences before you know it!

My new hats!

Mummy's friend Emma is so lovely! She knitted me lots of nice wooly hats. Here's a picture of Alex and I modelling them.

Dip Bowl

You have to be careful what you tell me. Mummy told me that daddy's tummy button looks like a dip bowl and ever since I've become obsessed with belly buttons. At the most inconvenient moments I start saying "dip bowl, dip bowl dip bowl" until Mummy or Daddy show me their belly buttons. I've also been asking whether Yetti and Zanzi have dip bowls. Mummy says they're covered in fur!

Here's a picture of my friend Sylvie showing me her dip bowl!

Super Bella

One of my new favourite games is getting Mummy's undies off the washing line and putting them on my head pretending they're a hat. However, they turn out looking more like a cape! I seem to pick out the same two pairs every time to play this game. Who would have thought Mummy's undies could be so amusing!

Shake a leg!

When Mummy wants me to hurry up she says "come on Bella, shake a leg" so I do as she says and shake my leg. I look so cute doing it that it always makes Mummy giggle.

Daddy's bottle

In the evenings I have to help Daddy drink his bottle.

Chilling in my lazyboy

I've discovered my baby bouncer makes a pretty good seat for watching TV. I can climb in, lie back and relax.

Trying out my potty!

For the last month or so I've been telling Mummy that I need my nappy changed so she decided it was time to get me a potty.

I haven't quite worked out what it's for but I think it's makes a great pretend bath for Bubby Lulu.

Bubby Lulu

On Saturday Daddy bought me a doll that I can take in my pool and bath but I like to take her everywhere. We called her Lulu as we got her at the same time as my potty. I love playing with her and saying "jump bubby" as I throw her around the room. I don't think I'm ready for a younger brother or sister just yet!
