Aunty Sarah's awesome backyard!

Aunty Sarah has the most fantastic backyard! There is a swing, a playhouse, a swimming pool, a sandpit, a slide and lots of grass to run around on. I wish I could play there everyday! Here's some pictures of me having fun with Alex and Mackenzie!

"I love you Mummy"

I can speak so well now. I say "I love you Mummy" and then I give Mummy a big hug!

I also say things like "I see a tree Yetti" and "More toast please Mummy".

I sometimes get a little confused with "me" and "you" so I say things like: "Mummy come and get you" and "Mummy cuddle you".

Tickle Tickle Mackenzie

I'm always talking about Mackenzie. She's given me lots of clothes and shoes so when I'm getting dressed I often say "Ta Mackenzie" especially when I'm putting on my sandals. When I see Mackenzie she gives me cuddles and kisses and tickles my neck. Here's a picture of me saying "Tickle Tickle Mackenzie". I get very excited telling this story!

My friend Yetti

Yetti Yetti You goes everywhere with me! I've even convinced Daddy to let me take him on the bike!

Pizza!

I'm so good at cooking pizza. I smear the bases with sauce (it's just like painting), I put on all the chopped ingredients (usually just in one place) and I eat all the cheese. With a few alterations from Mummy, they always turn out very tasty!

Tidying Up

Everyone seems to be impressed that Mummy has made tidying up into a game! We seem to get to play this game lots. I say "Bella tidy up" and run around madly putting all my toys away and following Mummy's directions! I love to help!

Hair accessories

Lately, Mummy has been putting hair ties and clips in my hair and trying all sort of different styles. I look so pretty!

My first fluffy!

On Thursday, Nanny took me to the lake for my first ever fluffy. I thought it was fantastic. I kept going "oooh oooh oooh". It even came with marshmallows. I love adventures with Nanny!

We got to play at the playground and feed the ducks. One of the ducks stole the bread out of my hand - "Duck eat finger" He he!

Mummy's scarves!

Mummy has been sorting her clothes. I've been helping! I love trying on her t-shirts and especially her scarves!

Bubby Ava is back!

Andy, Jenni and Bubby Ava came to visit in the weekend. We made sure we saw them everyday.

We had a yummy shared dinner on Friday night at Bubby Lilah's house. She has an awesome new rocking scooter. I discovered Daddy's name was Matt and started yelling at the top of my lungs "Daddy, Matt, sit down". Someone thought I was two and a half because I was so tall and talked so much! Unfortunately, I ate a little too much and Mummy and Daddy had to make a hasty exit with me!

On Saturday we went to the lake and played at the playground. On Sunday, Bubby Ava came to my house and on Monday we met up for lunch! Wow what a weekend!

Exciting Announcement

Uncle Geoff is getting married! He's finally convinced Aunty Alex to marry him! He apparently proposed on a volcano in Iceland when they both thought they might die. They got down alive so now they have to go through with the wedding. I'm hoping I'll get to be a flower girl but when I talked to Uncle Geoff this morning he was planning to elope!

We're hoping they'll sort out there dates soon so it doesn't clash with our trip to Samoa!

Tennis

Mummy and Daddy took me to play tennis. Well actually they took my bike down to the courts to ride around while they played tennis. It worked quite well and they got to play 1 set of tennis. However, I'm very keen on playing myself. Mummy says I should be able to start balloon tennis at 2 or 3. It's all part of the plan of me becoming a tennis pro!

Daddy's Bubby!

Now I'm such a big girl, I sometimes like to pretend to be Daddy's baby! I look so cute after bath time when he's wrapped me up in a towel!

Parana Park

In the weekend, after seeing Nana Joy and Grandad John, Mummy and Daddy took me to investigate Parana Park. We'd been told it was very nice and had a little paddling pool. As usual I loved going on the swing. I'm hoping we might get to there in the weekend. I'd like to show Ava and take her swimming!

Icecream, I scream for Icecream!

After Mummy and Daddy had been out on their date, they came home and I got to eat my first very own icecream in a cone. I thought it was delicious.

I've decided Mummy and Daddy should go out more. I had lots of fun with Granny rolling, jumping, running, and walking backwards. She was trying to wear me out but that's impossible. I need less sleep than Mummy and Daddy!

Cuddles with Grandad

I am the cuddliest baby ever! Here's a picture of Grandad and I having a cuddle!

Big girls wear dresses!

Today Mummy and I held coffee group at our house. All the girls came in dresses! Here's a picture of me with my friends Keeley, Malaika and Sylvie. Don't we look pretty!

Mackenzie comes to my beach!

We took Aunty Sarah, Mackenzie and Alex down to our beach! Mackenzie rode in my buggy so I got 2 try out having a big sister. It was fun! Maybe Mummy will adopt me one!

Mummy said when we got back, Aunty Sarah would move her car and I could show them all how I can ride my new bike. So I said "Aunty Sarah, car out of the way".

Daddy's a boat

Nearly everyday we meet Daddy at our beach after work for a swim as it's so HOT! I'm always asking to go swimming and even at bedtime I say "swimming tomorrow".

I've discovered I can ride on Daddy's back while he's swimming and I can go really fast! However, my favourite thing is to yell "1, 2, 3, Bella jump in" and then going running into the water.

Sleeping in a big bed

I love crawling into Mummy and Daddy's bed and hiding under the covers! I wish I could have a pillow in my cot! It takes Mummy four times as long to make the bed in the morning as I insist on sitting it and playing boo with the blankets.

More gardening

I'm still very keen on gardening especially when it involves eating the strawberries and peas and getting hold of the hose.

Mummy and I are growing a little Mimosa (a moving plant) in a tin.

Picking flowers with Sonya!

Mummy took me to see her friend Sonya. I slept for most of the visit and when I woke up I was very shy and wouldn't say much but I did get to pick some flowers.

Daddy's Birthday!

Daddy took the day off work on his birthday so we could have fun! We had a busy day biking and swimming. In the evening we went out to Nanny and Grandad's house and had a bbq dinner.

I played in the water trough, built a tower taller than me and of course played in the toy car. After dinner we got to go to the playground and I watched Daddy play tennis. Then we came home and had cake! Mmmmm!

Daddy's not so keen on my story about tennis as it often just goes "Daddy, hit, hit, hit" which when combined with my story of "Daddy No, No Bella" with my pointed finger and raised voice indicates that Daddy bashes me. Daddy has helped me to expand my story so now I say "Tennis, Daddy hits the ball".

After a very fun day, I had a bath in the basin and went to bed very late!

Karangahake Gorge

On Sunday, Mummy and Daddy took me to the Karangahake Gorge near Waihi. We got to go in some very dark tunnels. We even saw glow worms.

I insisted on walking most of the time. Thank godness we got to cool off with 2 swims!

Showing off our Beach

We took Nad, Rene, and Oscar down to our private beach. Oscar loves the water just like me! I can't beleive I have to wait until next Christmas to see him again!

Balloon Chasing

The other morning Daddy took me out on the bike to chase a hot air balloon! We got to see it land and deflate. I keep saying "balloon tip". I can't wait for the Waikato balloon festival

Our private beach!

We have found a lovely beach on the Waikato River in Braithwaite Park that no one else seems to visit. Mummy, Daddy and I ride our bikes down there. I love running in and out of the water and playing in the sand. Mummy likes paddling and Daddy likes doing his swimming training! It works out perfectly for everyone!
