Playing Construction Sites with Daddy

Whenever Daddy gets out his tools Zach likes to get out his tools and help too! Here there are fixing a doorstop to the door! It's great to have 2 handymen around the house!

Playdate with Brianna

Bella had her first playdate with Brianna - her favourite friend at Endeavour School. Brianna came over with her Mum and Dad and little sister Tayla. The girls made gingerbread men, played with their Countdown cards, played outside, went in the pool and played with all the toys inside. It was a fun packed afternoon.

Vinnie is 6

Bella went to visit Vinnie to say Happy 6th Birthday and give her her present from Uncle Ali and us. It was a ladybug pillow pet for her scooter and booster seat that she wanted. Bella just loves playing with Vinnie!

 

Exersaucer Fun

I have been resisting Lucia using the Exersaucer as I didn't want her to strengthen her leg muscles and start walking but it's no use I have to accept my baby is growing up! She loves going round and round in circles at a very fast pace.

The car is big enough for two!

With a bit of squishing and squashing Lucia and Zach can both fit in the Little Tikes car! I would have to say this is one of the  most popular toys in our house!

Fun times with Mackenzie

Bella was so excited to have her cousin Mackenzie come over and play! They had a great time swimming, playing the with water guns, doing beados, dancing, reading and watching each other's school and ballet show performances. It was touch and go, we thought Mackenzie might turn into a pumpkin if we didn't get her home by 3pm!

Who needs a puppy?

I'm always surprised when Aunty Sarah says that she'd like a dog but not another child. Lucia is just like a puppy in nappies. She chews and eats everything. Here she is carrying her shoes around in her mouth. She is always climbing on things, getting stuck in small places and generally getting into mischief. Lucky she's super cute like a puppy too!

Oh No - It's Daddy!

Lucia has a cycle helmet!

Lucia is very excited as she has her very own cycle helmet. She loves when she gets to put on Zach's but now she has her own pretty pink one with butterflies. Daddy is just as excited as it means we can all go on family bike rides again! Here is Lucia in the cycle trailer wearing her new helmet.

Our Beach Weekend to Whangamata

We went to Whangamata for the weekend. Bella was soooo excited because she got to take Friday off school.

We went and stayed with the Macaskils. Lilah and Bella got to sleep in the same room which they thought was awesome. They stayed up late playing every night. The kids enjoyed skipping, gymnastics, playdough, drawing, reading and just having fun together.

The beach was lovely. The kids had a ball jumping over the waves and playing in the sand. It was great having extra adults around to help.

It was a very relaxing break - I don't think I've ever sat down so much in the my life!
