My big boy Zach!

Here Zach is practising being a Daddy. He is taking the garden bin back in after it has been emptied. He surprised me further by putting the extra leaves in it. I love helpful Zach!

Zach our Bucket Filler!

When you do nice things at Kindy you're called a bucket filler! The other day Zachy got his second bucket filler award at Kindy for playing nicely with his friends. It sounds like his friend Amy and him were having so much fun together making up games and involving all the kindy kids as they ran around madly  laughing!

Super Bella Butterfly

It was mufti day at school on Friday and the theme was super heroes. Bella isn't really into super heroes so we decided to make up our own "Super Bella Butterfly". Bella got to wear her new butterfly top that she had just convinced Nanny to sew a whole lot of buttons on and a cape that she'd made at  Alex's 5th birthday party. She completed her outfit with a butterfly hair clip from Vinnie.

Lucia's first ballet class!

Lucia had her first ballet class today! She looked super cute in her pink tutu and ballet shoes! I even managed to get her hair into a little pony tail.

She started out a bit nervous but she proved she was quite a ballerina by the end running everywhere on his tippy toes, pointing her toes and doing some tough leg stretches. She did very well at listening to the teacher. She's very excited about going back next week!

At dinner time she got the star plate for being a good little ballet dancer and trying hard! She was very pleased with herself!

Bye Bye Aunty Janey!

Bella and I drove Aunty Janey to Auckland and said "goodbye"! It was sad to see Aunty Janey go - we hope she'll be back soon. In the meantime we're saving (or at least dreaming) of visiting her in London!

Aunty Janey took us out for coffee and cake. Yum! Bella's super excited smile is when Aunty Janey told her she'd take her to visit Paris!

Aunty Janey comes to visit!

We were so excited to have Aunty Janey come and visit with baby Callum! One of her friends managed to win a trip for 10 people to NZ and she was one of the lucky ones chosen to come.

Aunty Janey came to our house on Anzac day. We had the Hodges, Macaskills and Inskeeps over for afternoon tea and dinner. It was a lovely time for everyone to enjoy catching up. The 10 children all played really well together! We even got to celebrate Shell's birthday with a yummy chocolate cake!

We were lucky enough to have Aunty Janey stay the night so I kept her up talking until midnight! In the morning we had enough time to go for a walk to show her Bella's new school and have a play at a playground before she was off to her next social engagement.
