Connor and Jacob turn 4

Connor and Jacob had a pool party to celebrate turning 4! The kids had lots of fun playing in the paddling pools and on the slippery slides. Connor and Jacob both had delicious ice cream cakes with lots of lollies. It was the perfect party for a hot summer's day!

Watermelon Watermelon Watermelon!

So it turns out Zach can eat a lot of Watermelon. He's quite keen to grow his own Watermelons so we might give that a go next year. Bella is sporting her new watermelon coloured togs from cousin Mackenzie's hand me downs!

The Terrific Twins!

We used to call Lucia and Zach the terrible twins but we've altered their name to reflect what we'd like them to be like so we now called them the "terrific twins" in the hope that one day they won't get up to so much mischief together. They are a nightmare to take shopping as they chase each other around stores squealing.

They find so many things entertaining. Here is Lucia chatting to her favourite baby in the mirror. Here is Zach working out which cupboards in the toy kitchen he fits in. Here are both of them playing fall off the horsey on the end of Zach's bed. Lucia is also showing us how she rides the rocking scooter standing up while Zach dances madly in the background. They spend so much of their day giggling - everyone comments on how cute it is that they're such good friends.

Kathryn the Bouquet Fairy

Bella continues to love Rainbow Fairy Books. She decided we should act out our own Rainbow Fairy story so I was Kathryn the Bouquet Fairy. Matt was Jack Frost, Zach was a goblin and Bella and Lucia were Rachael and Kirsty. Luckily the stories all end well and my lost bouquet was found and returned to me so I could continue my magic!

Bearded Baby!

Lucia is such a mischief maker. I can't usually keep up with sorting out her path of destruction. As I'm mopping up a cup of water she's tipped out, she's pulling out tissues or covering herself in soap or sunscreen or hopping in the bath of shower. Here she is applying her own sunscreen - she's definitely got a good coverage!

Lucia loves her Daddy!

Lucia is such a cuddly baby! Here she is showing Daddy just how much she loves him! We often here "Where's Daddy? Need Daddy". She's not very impressed that Matt has to go to work. She'd much rather he stayed home and played with her outside and took her biking!

Jumping Beans is back!

We're back at Jumping Beans twice a week this term. The terrific twins just love that they can run around, climb up things and generally go crazy together. I like that they can burn on some energy in a relatively safe and fun environment.
