Bella can Hula Hoop

Bella got a fancy pink and purple hula hoop with silver sparkles from Santa for Christmas. She used to think the hula hoop was a bit big and Santa had got carried away with all the pretty colours. However, she can now hula hoop and she is super good it. She can hula hoop while walking, clapping, singing, and jumping. She makes it look effortless.

Bella's Sports Day!

At the beginning of March Bella had her first school sports day! It was mostly about team building and having fun.

There were lots of activities including sack racing, sponge throwing, stilt walking, playing with parachutes etc. Bella was in the green team with her friend Brianna. The kids got marked on behaviour and sportsmanship.

I'm glad to report that the Green Team was the winner!!! Yippee!

They had a great green team chant something along the lines of "We're the green team, the green machine team, running good, jumping good, shaking pom poms just like we should. We're the green team! It's not about the orange team, it's not about the red team it's about the green team!"

Bella is the crazy lady in the green wig. Lucia looked like Thing 1 or Thing 2 when dressed up.

Lucia 11 months!

Here Lucia is at 11 months. We were trying to get a picture of her for her birthday invite but she just kept pulling funny faces. As you can see she's still pretty bald, chubby and very loveable!

Bella and her Te Totara Buddies

This week Bella had Caitlin over after school and Abbey over in the weekend to play! Caitlin is moving back to the UK so Bella is now going to have a pen pal. Bella really enjoyed seeing her friends and didn't want them to go home.

Emergency Vehicles

We went to Waikato to Hospital to see some of the emergency vehicles. There were ambulances, fire trucks, lifeguard boats and rescue helicopters. We got to watch some fire fighters demonstrating how they get someone out of the car after an accident.
