The Morris Family are in Town!

Jenni, Andy, Ava and Campbell came to visit from Wellington. Hooray! We always love seeing them. We tried to get some pictures of our kids with the Morris's and Macaskills's which has become a tradition. However, it was a rather hard task and there isn't really any decent ones. Getting 7 kids to look at the camera is a pretty impossible task!

We enjoyed having the Morris's over for lunch and having a BBQ with them at the Macaskills.

Bella's School Award

In the last week of Term 3 Bella received an award for trying her best. She had been working hard on using different strategies to work out words she didn't know when reading.  She is standing next to her best friend in her class (Stephanie) who also received an award for trying hard.

Exscite

On Saturday we met the Darby Family at Exscite. Bella wrote a letter to Nanny and Grandad telling them all about it.

Mask Time

Lucia has been forced to wear a lot of dress ups in her short life. Her she is modelling a mask.

Our big 5 month old girl!

Lucia is 5 months old already! She is so lovely and never stops smiling! She just loves people and attention.

She loves getting into everything. She plays with the kids duplo and train sets and thinks that paper is very tasty. She can move quite a distance now by a combination of shuffling and rolling so we have to be very careful what we leave around. Zach has already sent her to the thinking chair a couple of times for breaking his train set. She thought it was hilarious. Bella and Zach both love her to pieces and think we should have more babies. Mummy and Daddy aren't so sure!

She went to plunket for her 5 month check and despite people telling me she looks tall she's apparently only 63cm on their scale which means cousin Ben is in the lead on height and that's she's below average. However, while I thought she'd thinned down a bit she's still maintaining her weight on the 50th percentile. She definitely has a neck now which is a bonus!

Fathers' Day

It was a lovely sunny day on Fathers' Day. Bella bought Matt a tie. She was determined he needed another one. She likes him to wear them when she's doing her shows every weekend! Zach helped me make Daddy some lemon fudge and bought him some plants for his garden. Lucia bought Daddy a big Toblerone. My gift was Thai Takeaways and Matt got to have a very yummy curry.

We went down to the park in the morning and flew a kite and kicked a soccer ball around. In the afternoon, Matt got to work planting.
