Lucia - 3 months old

Lucia is already 3 months old. She's very cute and extra smiley. She loves going into Kindy as all the Mum's pay her lots of attention so she beams away and they tell her she's beautiful so she smiles more and more. We're very lucky to have such a lovely baby!

Lucia and Libby

We finally remembered to take some pictures of Lucia and Libby together. Lucia is nearly 3 months old in these pictures and Libby is 10.5 months old. These two little girls are going to be great friends as their brothers and sisters are friends as well.

Oscar's Birthday

On Sunday we went out to Catherine and Steve's to celebrate Oscar turning 3. His Mum had arranged a cool dinosaur party for him. The kids had fun playing out at the farm and Zach even got a turn on Oscar's new motorbike.

When Zach left Oscar gave him a goodie bag with a dinosaur. When I asked Zach why Oscar gave him a dinosaur he said "because I'm his special friend". How cute!

Our last session of gym!

Today we finished term 2 at gym. We're not going back next term as Bella starts school so we're reducing our extra curricular activities.

Bella got her first gym badge so as you can tell from the photos she was very proud. They're supposed to be for kids who are 5 plus but the preschool class was too easy for her so we put her into the class above.

Zach just loves gym. He runs around the place like a madman. Unfortunately, he thinks that this is what he should do in the supermarket too.

Bella and Zach were very excited to have their little sister in the bath with them. She thought it was great too. Lucia just loves the water!

Getting ready for School

It is only 5 weeks until Bella starts school. She's going to Te Totara Primary School in Rototuna and we'll change her to Endeavour Primary School in Flagstaff when it opens at the beginning of next year.

We've got her stationary, her uniform and her lunchbox but we still need to get her a new backpack and drink bottle. The first photo is of her wearing her friend Abbey's new uniform. As you can see the fleece is huge so we got her the size smaller.

She's so excited about starting school. She certainly ready for it. She can count in 2's and 5's and do additions and subtractions. The other day she counted to over 2500 in 5s. She now basically writes anything she wants by sounding it out and she can read lots of words. School is going to be easy for her. The only problem is I think she'll get very tired.

Bella has started playing a game where Lucia gets to be the big sister fairy and Kashaleen gets to be the baby fairy. Here are the little fairies enjoying some mat time together!
