Banana Splits

In the weekend the kids are allowed dessert if they eat all their vegetables. Here they are enjoying yummy banana splits with banana, icecream, walnuts, marshmallows and chocolate sauce. Yum Yum!

Hope's cuddles with Lucia

Hope came over to get some cuddles with Lucia. She loved having a real live baby to hold. Bella and Hope enjoyed playing babies with Bella's dolls and Zach got jealous that Bella had someone else to play with. He managed to get a cuddle with Hope's Mummy though.

Bela and I made gingerbread men the afternoon before so they could be decorated when Hope visited. They were very tasty!

Hope bought Lucia a lovely Kaloo bunny which she can already hold onto and cuddle.

Aunty Sarah's Birthday

We had a cake at our house to celebrate Aunty Sarah's last year in her 30's! She still looks like she's in her 20's. Bella loved having Mackenzie over to play and I got some lovely cuddles from my gorgeous nephew Theo!

Bye Bye Therese

Therese James was our midwife for Lucia. Here is a picture of her with Lucia on her last visit. At 5 weeks old Lucia was average height (50th percentile), rather pudgy (75th percentile) with a large head (91st percentile).

Mothers' Day

I had a lovely Mothers' Day. Matt and kids brought me a big Tolberone, some flowers and a nappy changing wallet. Bella insisted that we have a Mothers' Day hunt so I had to search the house for my cards and presents. Matt also made me a little video where the kids told me I was the best lady in the world!

We walked/scootered around the lake in the morning and then picked up some fresh supplies from the Farmers Market for lunch with Nanny and Grandad. Matt cooked us yummy Phad Thai for dinner.

 

Lucia the Fairy

Michelle, Lilah and Eloise came over on Tuesday. The kids dressed up as fairies and that meant that Bella wanted to dress Lucia up as a fairy too! Here she is just over a month old wearing a tutu and holding a wand that Bella made for her!

Lucia - 5 weeks old!

I can hardly believe my beautiful little girl is 5 weeks already! She's certainly thriving! People have now started to admit she is very chubby, bonny, solid, pudgy, well covered and has very cute cheeks!

The camera adds 10 pounds and makes her skin a funny colour so she never comes across as cute as she is in real life. However, on her 5 week birthday I managed to capture this cute shot of her after her bath!
