My Big Kindy Boy!

I can't believe it! Zach is a Kindy boy! He started on Monday at Kids Club 1. He had a fabulous first day! I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about him starting because he seemed so little. He can't even reach the taps and soap. He didn't bat an eye lid when I left and apparently followed the whole kindy routine. By the time I picked him up he was looking pretty tired and stunned but he was very keen to go back on Wednesday!

Hahei Beach Holiday - Tua Tuas

While on holiday Matt and Bella collected Tua Tuas in the mornings. The kids enjoyed counting them. They soaked during the day and Matt enjoyed them as an entree before dinner. Bella and Zach both tried them but didn't think much of them.

Hahei Beach Holiday - Trips

While we were in Hahei we also visited Whitianga on the ferry and we went to Tairua. In Whitianga we had a play at playground, paddled our feet and stocked up on fruit supplies. We went to Tairua so  Matt could see the physio for his neck and enjoyed fish and chips for dinner at the local playground.

Hahei Beach Holiday - Caravan Giggles

The kids loved being in the caravan. They slept out in the awning. Although, they didn't seem to get too much sleep as they were always chatting away. Here they are giggling with their toys!

Hahei Beach Holiday - Bath Time

We bathed the kids every night next to the caravan in the baby bath. It was quite a tight squeeze fitting two of them in there!

Hahei Beach Holiday - Nanny and Grandad

Nanny and Grandad came to evict us from the caravan on Saturday. The kids enjoyed some beach time with them. Grandad managed to convince Zach to go and splash in the water while filling his bucket. Bella showed off her love of the water and boggie boarding.

Hahei Beach Holiday - Cathedral Cove

We went for a boat trip to Cathedral Cove. The boat ride was quite bumpy but the kids loved it!
