Taupo - Lilliput Farm

On the way home from Taupo we stopped at Lilliput Farm for lunch. It was lots of fun! There was a little goat called Jimmy who had just been donated to the farm who was ultra friendly. Bella got to give him his milk. Both kids got up close with him and even enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with him.

We got to feed lots of different animals, see baby piglets and play on lots of things. I was quite keen to bring home one of the black and white kittens and of course Jimmy!

Taupo - Tourist Attractions

While in Taupo we visited Huka Falls, saw the opening of the water gates and watched people bungy jumping. Matt also did some moutain biking.

Bella was quite keen to go bungy jumping until she saw if for real. She was fascinated by it and didn't want to leave. Matt thinks he might it do it for his 40th birthday! I have no desire to jump off anything!

As you can see from the photos it was lovely and sunny while we were away!

Taupo - Hot Pools

Last week we enjoyed a 3 night midweek break to De Bretts Hot Pools in Taupo. Bella loved the water playground and even went on the very fast dragon hydroslide with Mummy and Daddy.

Zach also seemed to like the big baths. He looked super cute in his togs!

 

A ball of cuteness

Whenever we get the kids out of the bath we wrap them in their towels and declare them "balls of cuteness".  If you look really closely in this photo you can see one of Zach's bottom teeth!

Fun at Nanny and Grandad's

Nanny and Grandad had all seven grandchildren at their house on Saturday. I went walking with Grandad and the kids while Matt cut the hedge!

Fletcher's Christening

We went to Fletcher;s christening in Te Awamutu. He wore a beautiful gown and his Mummy made him an amazing cake. He didn't even mind the water on his head.

Bella had fun playing with Max (Fletcher's big brother)! She's a bit distraught at the moment as Max can't come to her birthday party.

Zach is trying to walk already!

Zach shocked me the other day when he walked halfway across the lounge pushing one of the toy library toys. He is far too grown up! I'm doing my best to keep him a baby by continuing to dress him in stretch and grows! Where has my baby gone?
