Commando Crawling

Zach has been stuck in reverse for a couple of weeks now. It  makes for a very frustrated baby! On occassions he manages to co-ordinate things to move forward but mostly he just go backwards away from what he wants! He's started getting up in the press up position which looks quite impressive!

Duplo Fun

Bella and Zach spend all day playing with Duplo! Bella loves building towers. I thought she might become and architect as her new tower design is very unique! She made it all by herself!

Zach's first ride in Nanny's Car

Zach has his first adventure out with Nanny the other day. It was only to kindy and back but he thought her car was so comfortable he'd have a little nap!

Cool Sunnies

Bella looks pretty choice in her sunnies when we go out! She always gets lots of comments. We've been enjoying some nice walks in the sun lately. I'm starting to think Winter weather might be better than Summer in NZ.

Wahoo Solids!

On Sunday we finally gave in and Zach had his first solids - some lovely organic carrots! He thought they were delicious and would have kept eating forever. He looked like he'd been eating for months. There was no screwed up faces or spitting the food out, he just lapped it up. Bella loved feeding him, hence the mess! Today we're going to try potato!

Zach's first tooth!

After 2 months of waiting, Zach finally has his first tooth. His bottom left tooth has finally come up to say "Hello". I've been saying he's been teething since 4 months but we started to think he was just addicted to Bongella. It's good to know he's not an alcoholic!

Zach's all better

Zach has had a rough couple of weeks with a terrible cold/flu. He's struggled to breathe and therefore feed and sleep! He's had a hacking cough which rivals most long term smokers. He was so miserable he even lost his smiles which is very unusual for such a happy baby! He's better now and back to our lovely smiley boy! Hooray!
