Lucia is toilet trained!

Thanks to Zach, Lucia is toilet trained! I suppose because she's my baby I haven't wanted to get her out of nappies too quickly! Toilet training hasn't required any effort on our part!

Nanny told Lucia that once she used the potty she could come to her house on Wednesdays with Zach. Therefore, Zach decided he'd teach Lucia to use to the potty. Every time he went to the toilet he took her with him. She sat on the potty while he sat on the toilet. She got the idea pretty quickly and loved the attention from what she produced!

Lucia is so fiercely independent she doesn't want us to help with anything. She goes to the potty by herself and uses way too much toilet paper. She puts on her only undies even though she often has two legs in one hole and she even tries to empty the potty herself!

Oscar's 5th Birthday!

Oscar is 5! He had a cool fishing birthday party in Raglan! We hadn't taken the kids fishing before so it was a really cool experience.

The kids missed Matt catching his first fish but we got to see it in the bucket. We got to see him reel in another one only to loose it on the steps! They were only small bait fish but it was still exciting! It's motivated us to do more fishing this summer! Let's hope we catch something we can eat!

Bella and Amy's Inquiry Project

Bella and Amy did their Inquiry project together. They made globes and marked out how many people in the school came from each country. They did lots of google docs about how they made their globes and what they showed. The girls were very proud of their effort. Bella even got a certificate at assembly for her "good thinking during Inquiry".

Seeing Lilah and Ellie!

Yay it's school holidays and we get to see some of our good friends who now live on the other side of town! Lilah and Ellie came to play in our complete chaos!

Lilah had lost two teeth including one of her top front ones so was looking so grown up! Ellie is now as tall as Zach despite being a year younger!

Rainbow Day at Ballet

For the last week of term at ballet Lucia had to dress up in rainbow colours! Luckily she has a big sister who loves rainbows so she had the perfect outfit to wear!

Zach wasn't at Kindy so he got to come along and join in Lucia's class. He's a bit upset he can't come every week!

 

Don't tell Theo

I got very organised and purchased lots of birthday presents for upcoming parties! Here is Zach trying on Theo's cool reversible superman/batman suit just to make sure it will fit Theo as it's size 4-6 years! We're sure he'll like it!

My little soccer star!

Zach has been playing soccer at Star Turf this term! He really enjoys learning his soccer skills.
