Lucia was christened on Sunday 23rd November at 2.30pm. She is very lucky to have two lovely godparents - Dave and Michelle Macaskill.
We had a very small ceremony followed by cake and coffee. Lucia was very lucky to have Gwen (my godmother), who she is named after, come all the way from New Plymouth to celebrate.
The kids were all very well behaved in church. They thought it was fascinating!

Swimming Lessons
The kids are all starting swimming lessons in December. Zach did a trial to see if he could go in the pool by himself with just the teacher. The children are supposed to be 3 when they start with a teacher but if they're good at listening and they can reach the bottom of the pool they can go in a bit earlier. Zach did exceptionally well at his trial lesson - he did everything the teacher asked and on his tippee toes he could just reach the bottom. He's excited about going back again. The teacher was very impressed with him.
My Little Mischief Maker
Lucia is so cute but she is growing up so quick and getting into mischief. She loves the toilet and trying to get to Zach's potty! Really she loves the flushable wipes and thinks it's fun to pull them all out of the packet.
She gets in cupboards, she tips out toys and she likes to help with the washing by pulling it all off the line. She's so fast at crawling that it's hard to get a picture of her. She loves her food - as you can see she's quite pudgy!!! We've decided we don't need a vacuum cleaner anymore because Lucia and Tippy make sure the floor is always clean. We have to be really careful what gets on the floor as everything goes into Lucia's mouth.
She's started signing now. She's been signing "Daddy" for a long time by poking out her tongue. She's now started signing for milk by opening and closing her hand and sometimes she does a form of the all done sign when she's finished eating. She certainly seems like a clever little baby!

Zach's Digger Pants
Zach was very upset that his digger pants were in wash so we had to make him some more by sticking a paper digger onto his jeggings. He's very fussy about what he wears. He loves his digger top and digger pants.
Santa Letters
In the weekend the kids wrote their letters to Santa. Bella wants a hula hoop, Zach wants an Easel and Lucia wants a doll!

Lucia is in a Cot!
So it's taken 7 months and 6 days but Lucia has finally moved to a cot! I have to admit that when I saw the empty bassinet in our room I burst into tears. Where did my baby go!?!
