Bella's First Disco

Bella went to her first Disco with her friend Mia and Mia's little sister Chloe. As you can see Bella is becoming very independent lately. She looked beautiful for her first Disco.

Studious Bella

Bella set herself up an office in the lounge. Here is she is doing her homework for Kindy. She's very clever at sounding out all the words she needs. She's definitely ready for school.

Ben comes to play!

Ben came over for a playdate with Lucia. It's so nice to have another baby her age! Ben and Lucia did some playing on the play mat and then some sleeping on their parents!

Madi's Birthday!

Madi had her 5th BirthdayParty on Saturday. Madi is one of Bella's friends from Ballet. Monique (Madi's Mum) organised an amazing party complete with dress ups and professional face painter. The kids had fun playing pass the parcel and making fairy wands and fairies in a jar.

This was the first time that I'd left Bella at a friends house by herself (4 years and nearly 10 months).

Grandad's Birthday!

Grandad turned 68 on Thursday! Mackenzie asked if he was 89.

We all went out to Te Awamutu for cake on Saturday! Lucia and Ben got to meet up again! Lucia looked like a sumo wrestler compared to her rather petite cousin. Uncle Ali said "Watch out Ben, Lucia might eat you". We had to strategically take the photos so Lucia didn't look so huge but I've included one for a laugh where she looks like her head and cheeks are twice the size of little Bens. It's hard to believe there's only 2 weeks difference in age!

The cousins had lots of fun playing together. Bella especially loved seeing Vinnie and Mackenzie!

Our Chubby Bubby - 2 months old

Lucia is quite a chubster. She's continuing to track on the 75%ile for her weight. Most of that she carries around in her cheeks. She must take after her Mummy!

Aidan's Birthday!

Aidan had his 4th Birthday at Ashurst Park Playcentre. He invited Bella, Zach and Lucia to his Pirate Party. The kids had fun trying to escape a shark while dancing to music, walking the plank, going on a treasure hunt and trying to free the lollies from the pinata treasure chest.
