Construction workers

Here are my little construction workers riding in one of their trucks. Zach is the driver! He loves wearing socks on his hands as gloves.

Due Date

Here I am ready to pop on my due date (8 April) with Lucia! The kids loved pretending to be midwives using the doppler to listen to her heartbeat. 24 hours after the kids check up she was born.

We've finished swimming lessons

Last Saturday we did our final swimming lesson in preparation for winter and our new baby arriving! The kids are starting gym in the winter months.

Bella and Zach have really enjoyed their swimming lessons. I'm sure they'll be keen to start back in October.

Photoshoot preparation

When the baby is 12 days old we're intending to have some newborn photos taken. I've been looking at what we're all going to wear. Zach took a fancy to my lace top and decided he'd like to wear it for the photos. I think Matt might have something to say about that!

Despite being a little cutey Zach's adult modelling career is not looking particularly good. We measured him at 2 years and 3 months and it seems he will only be 5 ft 8 and half. His sister is predicted to be 5 ft 10.

The Balloons!

On Sunday we got up early and went and saw the balloons at the lake. There was an impressive cake and rocket man and lots of other colourful balloons!

After the balloons we went to the farmers market for lots of fresh yummy produce and blueberry waffles.

Zach on a two wheeler!

Matt changed Zach's runner bike into a two wheeler today and he can ride it! He says it's a bit wobbly but we were impressed that he could just do it straight away. Maybe he'll be getting a real two wheeler for his 3rd Birthday/Christmas.

Nesting!

I have been doing my best to nest but I must say it's pretty difficult with 2 kids messing up the house as quickly as I tidy it up! Today, we washed the kids favourite soft toys because no doubt they'll want to show them to the baby! Only 2 days until my due date! They really do need to have a more accurate method of telling when these babies will come out!
