Selecting our Christmas Tree

After killing two live Christmas trees, Matt decided he wanted us to go and select our own Christmas tree to cut down this year. The selection process was quite fun with the kids running all around and playing hide and seek in the Christmas trees. We managed to select a cute one that fitted in the boot of our new car. It looks very pretty all decorated and it smells great. We had quite a job trying to get it to stay upright in it's bucket but with the help of some bricks and jars filled with sand, it hasn't fallen over yet. Touch wood!

Today, Mr Tipkens decided that he quite liked the Christmas tree and snuck inside and hid under the Christmas tree pretending he was a present.

Zach's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Zach's 2nd Birthday yesterday! We couldn't celebrate in November because of kindy trips and Bella's ballet show so he had to wait until the 6th of December for his early birthday this year!

He had a digger party because he loves diggers! Nanny and Grandad bought him a ride on digger which he thought was absolutely awesome. I made him a digger cake and he had 10 friends over to celebrate his birthday. We played pass the parcel and pin the arm on the digger. We decorated gingerbread bread digger drivers, played on the bouncy castle and coloured in pictures of diggers. The kids took home balloons on sticks and construction stickers. Everyone seemed to have a good time especially Zach who keeps saying "I'm the birthday boy!". I think his birthday is going to go on all month.

Bella's Ballet Show

Bella really enjoyed her ballet show and she looked beautiful! We enjoyed watching our little ballerina on stage. Mackenzie and Nanny came to see her dance too! In the group photo Bella is in the back row second from the end on the right.

Hope and Skye come to play!

Bella and Zach had a fun time this morning. Bella's friend from Kindy came to play and she bought her older sister. All the kids played so well together! They enjoyed playing babies, Guess Who, putting on makeup, and playing outside! It's good to see a nearly 2 year old and nearly 7 year old can enjoy playing the same games! Bella didn't want her friends to go home!

Madi's House!

Bella is enjoying lots of playdates in the holidays! On Wednesday we went to Madi's house! She has lots of fun toys! Bella and Madi also made cookies together!

Lilah and Bella

Lilah came to play on Tuesday! The girls had fun dressing up as fairies and dancing to fairy movie. They also enjoyed some bubbles and makeup! Zach got in the action too and got Bella to paint his nails!
 

Bella the Cupcake Fairy

Bella's kindy runs a holiday programme over the school holidays. On Tuesday she had to dress up as a book character. She went as Camilla the Cupcake Fairy! She looked very cute with her cupcake headband!
