He's a very sucky baby so you often find him with his whole hand stuffed in his mouth. He loves to get his hands on the flannel when we're not looking!
I can't believe my baby is 3 months old! At his 3 month plunket visit he was 62cm long (75th percentile) and 5.8kg (25th percentile). His head is obviously full of brains as it is 40cm (91st percentile).
Nanny has ordered a brand new bright blue Honda Jazz! Lucky Nanny! The number plate is GFG111 which according to Grandad stands for "Go Fast Granny - Call the Emergency Services".
Bella loves adventures in Nanny's car so she'll be sad to see the light blue car go. No doubt, Vinnie and Bella will manage to cover the new car in crumbs in no time at all! You won't be able to tell it's new after week. Sorry Nanny!
Ali refers to Zach as JC (Jesus Christ) because he was supposed to be born on Christmas Day. In fact he would have been born on Christmas Day in the northern hemisphere and I suppose that's what counts! Anyway, in this picture he looks like a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. I'm not sure Jesus would have had a dummy though!
In the weekend we went to visit Nanny and Grandad in Te Awamutu to welcome them back from their trip! Zach had his first experience of sleeping in a cot and thought it was wonderful to have some much room. He didn't bat eyelid about sleeping somewhere different which bodes well for holidays! While he was asleep Matt and I mananged to fit in a set of tennis!
We decided it would be nice to do a family walk in the weekend. We walked around Lake Hakanoa in Huntly. Bella would have preferred just to have been at the playground the whole time but lucky we found two of those at the end for her!
We found a little grove which was set up for weddings where we took lots of pictures. Bella enjoyed pretending she was at a wedding and testing out all the seats. Zach was glad to be out the pram and see the trees and Matt had fun climbing to the top of a tree!
Bella was super excited today because Nanny came to play with her! She has been tripping around the South Island with Grandad in the caravan for a whole month!
Nanny spoilt her rotten taking her out to "Old McDonalds", the play area at Westfield and a pet store!
Nanny was impressed at how much Zach had grown. He showed Nanny some of his cute smiles.
