Izzy in the bath

Nanny gave me a doll a few months ago and we never got around to naming her. I used to call her Nanny's baby but then Mummy suggested we give her a name. Mummy came up with lots of names that she likes but perhaps aren't practical to call our baby but I decided I'd like to call her Izzy! One day I hoping my friend Izzy from London will come to visit and then I'll have two Izzys to play with!

Since Izzy has a name I like her even more and want to take her everywhere. I especially like when she comes in the bath with me.

My first drop off at Kindy

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning I get to go to Kindy. Mummy was very nervous about dropping me off on Tuesday but after I was settled she said goodbye and it went really well.

When I got home I was a new confident girl. When anyone asked me how Kindy was, I said "fabulous". On Tuesday we did face painting, nail polish and hair dressing. We also got to play outside in the sun. Kindy is so much fun!

Nanny's Birthday

Nanny turned 65! When Mummy told me how old Nanny was I said "oh my goodness"!

On Sunday we went to Woodlands with my cousins to celebrate. Mummy and I made Nanny a flower cake. It took us a very long time but she seemed to like it.

On Nanny's actual birthday we went out to Te Awamutu and because all my cousins were away I got to have lots of special time with Nanny and Grandad. I loved having them all to myself! I loved going in Nanny's "enormous" bath!

Mummy thinks it's hillarious that I think Nanny's real name is "Super". Nanny's name is Sue and she says "Super" all the time so it makes sensse that Sue is short for super. It's a great name for Nanny because she is super in my eyes!

Staying in Uncle Ali's Apartment

We went to Auckland for 3 nights and stayed in Uncle Ali's apartment. I was very impressed that his house had a swimming pool! It also had a tennis court but we didn't get around to using that. I kept showing Mummy around the apartment saying "look what Uncle Ali's got".

The Rugby World Cup!

When we were in Auckland we got to explore the Viaduct and party central for the Rugby World Cup! I asked Mummy "will there be ducks at the Viaduct?" I was a bit disappointed we didn't see any. Daddy got to go to party central at night to watch the rugby.

The Ferry to Devonport

Mummy and I really wanted to go to Rangitoto Island but Daddy decided the weather wouldn't make the trip too much fun so we went to Devonport instead. Mummy had to explain to me that Rangitoto was nothing like Rarotonga even though they sounded similar so I wasn't so disappointed.

In Devonport we got to play at the playground, go to a kids cafe and walk up Victoria Hill to see the view of Auckland city!

Auckland Zoo

On our Auckland trip Mummy and Daddy took me to the Zoo. I particularly liked the meerkats and playing at the playground. I was a little scared of feeding the giraffe so Mummy got my carrot. I thought Kashin the elephant did some pretty cool tricks.
